I've been wanting to come to this location for a while now and finally made it. This store did not disappoint! They have much more variety selections than other Safeway locations in the city and the store was extremely clean and put together in comparison to other stores. Staff was great, I'll definitely be back and choose this location as my main Safeway! (Even though it is outta my way)

The pick up order always says someone picked it up even before I arrive. They don’t take the code and they say the order has been picked up. It’s a constant issue at this store. Everyone seems so incompetent, how do they keep making the same mistake when someone orders.

Very difficult to get service at butcher counter. After interminable wait, served by a sullen and scowling fellow. Unpleasant experience. At other times, no one manning the counter at all.
Almost always long queues waiting to check out.
Many items in stock according to the app are, in fact, not there.

This location can be so disappointing. My previous review still stands, but as an update, if you buy an item that is discounted, double-triple-check to make sure the cashier entered the discount. I bought some beverages yesterday that were red tagged with a huge discount, so I bought several. From a previous visit, I knew that the discount didn't ring automatically when I was at self-check out and had to get help. So I warned the cashier Luis that it didn't discount automatically before and he said "the discount will show up at the end." And I was thinking "alright, maybe they fixed it." So the items got scanned, the total came up and I couldn't tell if it was discounted so I asked Luis if the discount went through for the items. He stated the discount did go through. He didn't seem too engaged at all or helpful so I didn't really think anything of it and took his word for it. As I was walking towards the exit with my items, I pulled out my receipt and saw the discount didn't go through! Liar. Fortunately, the Customer Service window was on my way out and Lolly helped me pretty quickly and took the discount of $11.00 off my total. Super disappointed that I wasn't heard by the cashier Luis and he was dismissive towards my questions.

Rosa, the cashier has a nasty attitude. We all have bad days, but she does regularly. Not a good look for Safeway.

Thank you to the lady in charge, not sure if she was the manager. That didn't hesitate to go to the back and bring me another pack of eggs even though I was already in line. Very different to the lady in the bakery that didn't even bother to call anyone to check on the eggs for me.
