THIS IS THE BEST FURNITURE STORE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN 25 YEARS! I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS STORE!! NOW, THIS IS HIGH-END QUALITY FOLKS & YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED, AT ALL;-) !!! LOOK NO MORE, THIS IS THE PLACE TO SHOP! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO EVERYONE LOOKING FOR TOP QUALITY AND AMERICAN-MADE AND CUSTOM-MADE ITEMS. THIS IS A REAL FURNITURE STORE, THAT STILL MAKES ITS FURNITURE OUT OF REAL WOOD. NOT CARDBOARD LIKE Ashley Furniture, which is pure trash! After having a very bad experience with Ashley in Colma, CA, I found these diamond in a ruff;-)!Semi was absolutely amazing and her customer service skills were awesome! We laughed and browsed around and picked out a new beautiful fabric of my choice for my new sectional. I AM GETTING MY 1ST CUSTOM-MADE SECTIONAL HERE AND I AM SO EXCITED;-)! I spent a few hours here and Semi and I had 1-on-1 time together, it was extremely delightful and professional. I came at the best time and I had her all to myself. This furniture store has a deep and rich history here in the city and has been around for over 20 + years. I remember when it was in the city. I am a native here. I am paying $500 to $600 more than I paid at Ashely's but, IT IS WELL WORTH IT. I don't care about the price when I am happy and the quality is great!!! The prices are reasonable for the high quality you are buying. I can not wait for it to be delivered in 4 weeks. I will be back with an update. Thank you Semi you were a rock star;-)!

We are in the market for a new couch. My daughter (8 years old) and I went to San Francisco Furniture Outlet after reading all the good reviews online. The store wasn’t busy on a late Sunday afternoon. We were trying out some power reclining couches. A sales person (Asian lady with black hair) came out of nowhere and started accusing my daughter of breaking the recliner when all she was doing is kneeling on the couch and touching the headrest. We have been to a couple of furniture stores to try out couches and this has never happened. My daughter wasn’t misbehaving. After I explained that she was just trying out the couch and that she wasn’t pushing the headrest the sales person still kept accusing her of potentially breaking the couch. We left the store immediately after being poorly treated. They just lost our business. I would not recommend the store to anyone if they have unprofessional and rude sales person like that.

Update: When I showed the store the quality of the cabinets, they did not hesitate to take back the item. I've since got refunded. I'm very thankful to the store for making the return process easy with this defective item.--I was really disappointed with the quality of the furnitures given the price. We ordered 3 items and none of them came to us without an issue. Dinning set wasn’t polished and had so much splinters. We fixed it and didn’t complain. Swivel chairs came with scratches, we didn’t complain. A chest full of scratches and chipped areas- not happy but ok with it. However, I find that one of the cabinets is off because the screw wasn’t drilled in, and then found further that it’s been drilled on multiple times and that it’s not fixable- that’s why the screw was unstable. Then we find styrofoam like materials within the wood, while we drilled out the screws? The wood is suppose to be mahogany.Overall, nice and friendly staff, and are very communicative. However, the warehouse needs to do better. A lot better.

I love this store. Female owned and operated, family business. Their furniture is so well made and at an amazing price. We bought from them almost a decade ago when they were in an old location in Potrero Hill and bumped into their store today - serendipitous and so joyful. We found the most amazing hardwood acacia coffee table, and Lee was so helpful and kind with our super fussy toddler who was not having the shopping experience one bit. They were super patient with getting it to loaded into our car, and protected it like pros - it's now in our home office without a single scratch. They were just as amazing as they were 10 years ago to work with, and for the next furniture item we need we will absolutely be going to them!

Absolutely incredible customer service! I don't normally write reviews, but my experience with Furniture Innovation calls for one. Everyone here has gone above and beyond to make sure I got the furniture that was right for me and my home. After a bit of a snafu with the original couch I purchased, the team worked with me to figure out a solution-ultimately landing on purchasing a different couch. They were so helpful through this process, and their care for me as a customer shined. I now have a couch that works perfectly for me, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Furniture Innovation team! You have a loyal customer in me!

Wonderful experience. I went in needing a sleeper sofa visiting family. They had a very nice selection and most impressive was a collection of Luonto couches they had from Finland. I needed it fast, and they did not have one available in their current inventory. Instead of telling me "sorry", the owners went the extra mile to find me a sofa which was delivered to my residence two days later! Thank you!!

Lee and Semi were personable and super helpful. Lee spent a lot of time helping us to find something we like and lending design ideas. The store carries a nice mixture of furniture.

There's a great bunch of mcm furniture scattered about this large open store. Dense sets of chairs, tables, beds and more make this a stop which will almost certainly have something for everyone. Friendly staff available to help you find whatever color you want.

It saddens me to leave such a negative review but I want other ppl to know innovative furniture has no sense of what customer service or satisfaction is. September 2019 I communicated with Semi (owners niece/sales associate) about a few items I would like to purchase. Semi was very helpful at the beginning. She was not able to price match an online merchant for the Hemit love seat and sofa but she did give me a discount which I greatly appreciated. Semi was very responsive and communicated with me until items were delivered to my house. The Hemit love seat and sofa are very stylist but not very practical. Three weeks after receiving the love seat and sofa, the springs on both items came loose and squeaked when pressure was applied. A side note, I do not have young children or monkeys jumping on the couches and I myself seldom sit on them. I was surprised how poorly constructed they were. Also, the side arm of the love seat came loose when I leaned on it. I contacted Semi by text and also called her. Semi asked I send her videos showing the items squeaking. I made two video clips showing my 110lb body sitting on each of the items and how noisily they squeaked when I sat on them. Semi said she will send the video clips to the manufacture (Coaster) and get back to me. A couple of days later Semi got back to me telling me she will send me replacement for the defective love seat and sofa. I was asked to send the defective items back and PAY $200 for the delivery of new items and the return of old defective items. I was shocked I would be responsible for new delivery charges. I explained to Semi, I've had the items for no more than three weeks and the items have a ONE year warranty and are defective. She said it's not the merchant's responsibility for delivery and return charges. The helpful and customer oriented Semi disappeared. She was now the greedy sales associate who no longer cared about customer satisfaction. I had to get my credit card company involved. Semi later sent me a lengthy email with the innovative furniture refund/exchange policy stating it is customer responsibility for delivery and returns. The policy did not address the return of defective items. This post is intended to alert customers to ask for return and exchange policy in writing. Customers need to ask for merchant policy and manufacture warranty about replacement charges. I was not given return and exchange policy in writing or verbally. What I was informed was there is a ONE year warranty on the items I purchased but nothing about having to pay for the delivery of replacement items or returning of defective items. It is disappointing this transaction did not work out. I was hoping to find a furniture store to furnish my whole house.

I had a great experience at Furniture Innovation. My experience was personable and pleasant. The owners really listened to my needs and help me pick out appropriate furniture for my home. The process was seamless, they delivered on all accounts, literally and figuratively. I now stop in just to say hello! Amazing people, I highly recommend them.
