This place is terrible. Casher is impolite and shout at customer and it's not authentic Japanese. Instead it's a china operate restaurant.

Was looking for a snack to take in my flight. Decided to buy the rock n roll box. The food was much better than I imagined.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND/ NOT RECOMMENDEDThey should increase the quality standards in airport restaurants, I bought a chicken curry and it was a terrible experience, the chicken was spoiled, I had to put it aside.I find myself having digestive problems due to people's lack of ethics and morality, it seems risky to me that they continue to operate inside an airportIt is necessary to increase the process for quality measures for restaurants within the airport, I bought a Chicken curry and it was a disgusting experience, the chicken was spoiled so I couldn't ate it.I’m having digestive problems because the lack of ethics and morals from people, I think it is risky to allow this place still have service in the airport

Horrible food - avoid at all costs! We had ramen and chicken terriyaki, both were bland, tasteless and looked awful, chicken especially - it was a few large pieces of dry, overcooked chicken, with some basic veggies from a frozen pack, and a squirt of sauce. Disgusting. I was so excited when ordering food but the mood quickly changed when I saw and tasted it. The only place it belongs is a garbage bin.

I never expected to have ramen at the airport food court! I love this place; the ramen is hot and tastes delicious. The spicy chicken rice is also good in terms of both price and portion.

The chicken teriyaki bowl wasn’t bad at all. About $16 with tax. I would ask for it without the peas and corn since they taste like they came out of a can. The chicken and rice reminded me of the taste of flame broiler.

Dec 2023Increasing the rating to 4 star though much of the comments below still remain the same. I am increasing to 4 stars as the sushi we tried a few days ago were not so bad. I would still suggest "profitability through better value and customer-oriented services."Below from 2018This place is a good example of the state of the restaurants at SFO where a little bit more value (and some courteousness for this one) could make buyers leave with the good feeling of it being an oasis (something to look forward as a break) along tiresome journeys rather than feeling gauged as a captive customer...Had their tempura udon. A bit salty, insufficient amount of broth, stale and lukewarm tempura, and no vegetable tempura... all for 18 dollars with a drink.A business model change (customer and not just bottomline centric at the expense of quality, valu, and service) should help make this a far more enjoyable AND profitable. Come to think of it, such a change could be useful in many airports, like ORD. Perhaps city municipalities (or the landlords) should mandate such prerequisite on their tenants as they are the initial faces of the city...

I fly United frequently and I always enjoy stopping at Sankaku for Tempura Udon. The service is always quick. The soup is always good. As far as atmosphere the only thing I can say is, It's an airport.

Buyer be aware. Lady at front added 2 more plates to the receipt. When we questioned ourselves in front of her so strange 100 dollars for 3 plates and a few other small items (each plate was about 14 bucks), she remained silent. This went on for a few more seconds we repeated to ourselves and eventually I told my wife let’s ask for a receipt. The moment we told her give me a receipt she spoke up and said she had heard 5.This whole time we had said why 100 for 3 various times in front of her she stayed silent. The moment we asked for receipt she said she charged us for 5. She later turned around spoke to someone in their language and laughed.I am not surprised they rob clients due to no one looking or thinking due to rush of airports. If I would not have asked for my receipt she would taken an extra like 30 bucks.

It’s a bit disappointing. Walked around the San Francisco airport working up an appetite and finally decided on the bento box. A strange sort of bento, with no soup, gyoza, or tempura. Included two proteins: boiled, bland, oldish chicken with canned Teriyaki sauce and dry, fishy salmon. The only thing edible were the 3 pieces of California roll and the diet coke. For airport prices I would hope the food would at least rise to the level of being mediocre or average. Instead it held the distinction of being literally the worst “teriyaki” I’ve ever had. I ended up throwing most of it away and going somewhere else. And the second time, checked the reviews. Avoid.

Food is ok for me but service really bad! The casher lady I encountered at the store had a severe lack of service mind. She seemed disinterested in her job and was not friendly. I feel she doesn't happy with her job.
