My car was in a collision, and I chose Selecta Auto Body to do the repairs, covered by my insurance company. I found the staff to be friendly, helpful, reachable and responsive. They did very good work on my Porsche cayenne, used proper brand/standard parts, and had a very keen eye for detail, noticing and attending to the little things others would likely have overlooked. I was thrilled with the result, it is literally perfect. Selecta will be my go-to shop for future body work.

Absolutely A+ body shop, from start to finish. We started by dropping off the car and the body shop was so clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Along the way with the repair, they kept us in the loop and got a very large repair (2 week job) done right on time. I asked to pick up the car on a Monday at 7:30am and showed up at 7:25am and my car was right up front, ready to go as promised. The inside and outside was cleaned so nicely, and the work itself - the repair and body work - was better than even my high expectations. 5 stars for sure.

In all my 45 years on this planet I have never met such honest and talented mechanics!!! I went to a shop where I was told $700 to pop out my dent and fix the paint. Then another $300 to awitch out the lightbulb. These guys took one look and said it would only take them a few min they wouldn’t charge me for something so small. 🤯
They were such gentlemen and have made a customer for life. I’d recommend them from the top of a mountain at the top of my lungs!!!! Best auto body shop ever!!!!!!!!

Gene, Alex and the team were great! I didn’t have to worry about anything. They even took care of getting and returning my rental car. Wonderful customer service! Work on the car was amazing. What a dream team that provides high quality bumper repair work with exceptional customer service and very competitive prices.
Back in March 2024, I reversed into a tree (lulz) and damaged the rear bumper of my friend’s convertible, creating a big ol’ dent and two holes. Over the course of a month, I shopped around for quotes and got estimates from 5 SF auto body repair shops.
Selecta stood out for a variety of reasons:
1. Their estimate was the best priced. Their hourly labor rate is a bit cheaper, and it makes a difference.
2. They were the only ones who evaluated whether a repair would be possible. They were confident they could do a full repair, which helped bring the cost down by $400. All the other shops said that I needed a bumper replacement, and that BMW bumper part is not cheap. Even Selecta’s replacement quote beat out other shops by $200-300.
3. Their customer service is top notch. Their office manager Jackie picks up the phone in 2 seconds. And estimator Gene is the sweetest soul. You can tell he cares deeply about the work and the customer.
4. Last but not least, their quality is sensational. They fixed up some of the other scratches, and the bumper looks brand spanking new. They offer a lifetime warranty on their work to boot!
Keep in mind that you need to book an estimate appointment since they make sure they have space for you to pull up in front of their shop. I also had to wait two weeks for them to have availability to work on the car. They quoted 2-3 business days in the shop—it would have taken them 2 days had the dealership shipped the correct part. The car came home 4.5 days later looking like a beaut!
While I hope to not need future auto body work, you can best believe that I am bringing all my future needs to Selecta (and actively recommending them to friends and family too)!
