Irene was such a doll! She processed my return super quickly (and actually checked to make sure the product was unused, which some SAs don't do) and gave me my birthday gift! Super nice and pleasant experience.

Felt watched and uncomfortable at some points. I asked to be color matched, someone helped me and then after swiping it on the lower side of my my cheek once and us both agreeing the undertone was nice she asked which size I'd like to buy? After one swatch? So I responded, I know you're busy, and asked someone else for samples. I understand people are overworked so that's okay. My next thing was being asked if I'm okay twice by the same person within like 3 minutes? Last thing is after spending about $150 here I was told I could not get 4 samples and had to limit to 3 lol. The manager mentioned this to the rep over the radio which means she had been watching and counting the samples I got even though she didn't help me. I asked for the additional samples after I already purchased, Just an odd visit and unfortunate.

The staff was super nice. They even had an estitician wandering around waiting to help. I would love to see more natural and organic products. The less chemicals the better. Then you would have a real addict on your hands.

They arbitrarily close early regularly without notice. On one of these occasions I was in the last day of my return window for an item and I arrived only to see that they had decided to close the store at 4:30 instead of 6. I arrived at 4:35 and the woman at the door wouldn't let me in even though I explained it was my last day to return and there was still a line of customers inside the storeVery rude service!

As a tourist, and a POC, I had a great experience at this outlet. The staff was neither overbearing nor dismissive. They let me be, for over an hour, while I slowly browsed through everything, and were immediately available to help when I needed it.The kind lady at the checkout counter understood that I wasn't a local and was very patient and friendly towards me while never being demeaning.Great overall!

Not calling the people here incompetent, but definitely the least competent employees of all SF sephoras, or at least the person that checked me out. I asked for an emailed receipt and he completely disregarded me and said he just chooses to always print them out. Maybe have people at the registers that actually listen!

I stand corrected; this is now my favorite Sephora in the city. Reasoning: they modified the online pickup option, so that the greeter is by the door to help and you don't have to wait in line. To be fair, it might have always been that way and the day they made me wait in the main line to pick up might just have been a day they were short on staff. But I digress... Also, it's basically never busy in here anyway. In fact I am giving them 5 stars and crossing my fingers they don't end up closing shop. So much in SF is in flux... And finally, I would just like to add that the staff and security have always been very nice to me, which really does matter a lot.

Had a very stressful experience at the store today!I came to return an online order but the manager of the store wasn’t able or didn’t want to issue a full refund for the item. I had all the information she needed, my account number, order number, but she kept making up things not to issue a full refund.I paid partially with a store credit for the item but she didn’t want issue a refund for that portion or issue a store credit card. She was offering to refund just one part of the payment.In addition she started randomly clicking on my phone and searching for things without my permission.I called the main Sephora customer service when I left the store and they told me that the manager had all the power and information to issue a full refund for item and they will investigate her behavior.She seamed very incompetent and was lucking the basic knowledge on how to deal with customers.Another employee there who I reached out for help, also was very rude and he looked like he didn’t want to be there.The store is always empty and you would think they would treat a few customers with care and respect, but no.I will not return to that store!

Sephora is ubiquitous -Lets face it. This one however stands out because of the universal kindness and knowledge base of their staff. Pretty incredible actually. I would travel to this location regularly if I lived anywhere near San Fran or Bay Area just for this reason alone.
