5/5 stars for having good customer service at this store. The makeup artist expert and owner, Eli, was very helpful; and she had treated me very well. I tried their studio service, and it was so fun. I had a great experience at this store. And, I had a very good experience wearing the makeup that the makeup artist had put on me. I was pampered and I am beautiful. I definitely luv the makeup purchases I had made, and Eli gave me a lot of samples to take home. I luv her and liked all of her suggestions.

I always go to the Serramonte location, and visiting stonestown's Sephora reminds me why. Living in a city where theft runs rampant, I understand why businesses tend to be more cautious about people who enter their stores. However, I've never felt so discriminated/profiled at a Sephora ever in my life. The staff in this location are relentless.Today, I came into this sephora with the intention of browsing. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, I just wanted to swatch few things and look around which I don't think is a crime... However the unwelcoming staff at this location don't fail at making their customers feel like you've committed a felony.A greeting here and there is expected, but what I don't appreciate is being watched, followed around the store, and constantly asked "Is there anything you're looking for?" every 5 minutes. Every worker at this location is rude and miserable. I will never return to this Sephora. If you can, go to Serramonte. The difference in atmosphere is night and day.To the store managers and higher ups, I think discrimination training needs a refresher. Let's not make customers feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and let's not judge people based on how they look!

I went to this Sephora yesterday (Jan. 5th) and I am a bit disappointed with my experience :(. They were out of stock for basically everything I wanted to get (e.g. hourglass concealer, haus concealer, amika texture spray mini, one/size powder) and it really took forever to flag down a sales associate to ask them to check the bottom drawers. I know it's frowned upon to check these drawers yourself but I mean if its been 10 minutes and I haven't been helped, what am I to do? Additionally, 3 sales associates just seemed to be conversing with one another rather than helping out customers. But shoutout to Amy (w/ dark hair & glasses), a sales associate who helped me out eventually after helping several other customers; I think she was the only worker on the floor!!

Longest wait in line while a long line of customers dorm and 3 cashiers attend to one guest. Asked a Sephora rep if they can have someone else ring up, ignored. Worst customer service of all sephoras I've been to.

Super dirty, always out of stock. The staff gives me "I steal the inventory" vibes. They all seem pretty sketch and not very professional. I hate going into this store. I prefer online ordering at this point. What happened to professionalism in customer service?

I came to Sephora to get my eye makeup done for my friend's wedding. I showed the makeup artist a picture of how I wanted my eye makeup to look and the picture itself was beautiful; however, I was very disappointed with how it actually turned out. The eye makeup looked nothing like the picture I showed her and actually looked worse. I don't think I got my money's worth and definitely would not come back.

I bought a foundation here and found that the product was not sealed and it was leaking all over. I didn't get to return until 20 days later, but when I did, this self claimed assistant manager told me it was too late. She insinuated that I cut it open. I told her it came open and defective and I just wanted to exchange, but that didn't seem to help. She said I should have called right away to tell them if I had a problem and couldn't come in sooner. (I thought it was an odd policy, and I never heard about it.) She gave me the customer service number to call and see if they can help. The customer service was surprised that the store didn't take it back. The return policy is 30 days even for open item! They couldn't help me on the phone because they ran a different system. So they advised me to return to perhaps another store. I went to the Serramonte store, and no problem. They were even apologetic that i got a fedective item. Great service. I have no idea why this assistant manager did what she did. I had to spend extra hours just to get refunded on the defective product. This store is conveniently located but often low in stock. I think twice about shopping there.

5/21/23 girls in the front are nice and welcoming but Juliana at the register, she had blue hair. She needs a reality check, giving attitude for no reason.

This location is the worst Sephora I've ever visited. Consistently ten people working the floor and nobody at register. Be prepared to wait an hour to buy that concealer
