I have no problem with this station. Prices are reasonable, considering no gas prices are reasonable in San Francisco. There are two entrances & exits, new pumps, a convenience store that sells fried chicken, spiffy car wash, & the world's best attendant. Not sure what happened this visit to the soap & squeegee stations. Shell usually has the cleanest soap, water & squeegees.

Hands down the best fried chicken in the city at this Shell. I actually get the fried chicken for breakfast with their coffee and it's the only way to start off the day for me. It tends to cause a bit of stomach pain later in the day because of the heavy grease and acidity from the coffee, but it's well worth it. Treat yourself to some chicken, gas and coffee.

Zero stars, really. I've lived in the area for multiple decades, and I only go if I absolutely have no other options.1. Their carwash WILL damage your car. I had a bunch of sap on my car, so I figured I'd run it through the car wash just to get the worst of it off. Lo and behold, the damn machine rips off my roof mounted antenna. When I went in to complain, the guy said some jibber jabber that was completely unhelpful.2. Need air for your tires? Good luck with that. Every time I go, their machine is out of order. BTW, their machine is a pay machine. I thought it wasn't legal to charge for air at gas stations (I could be wrong). Regardless, it's pretty wrong that their air machine is out of order 100% of the time3. Prices advertised are with a car wash, so it's kinda bait and switch-y. They're not the only gas station to do this, but it's deceptive nonetheless.

Not great Ingres and egress, nice location for locals in Bernal, Noe and the outer Mission, but requires a nervy approach and can be difficult to navigate an exit.

You’re required by state law to have functional free air and water.Your machine is clearly equipped with a payment device and not working.

They mark prices in the store, but mark them up at the register but when you say something they act like you're a Karen.

Very convenient. Not the best prices, but not the worst either. Pumps get hard to read sometimes because of vandals scratching the screen. The last time I was there, the store and car wash were closed

1/3/2023 air water and vacuum are out of service.---Clean, friendly staff, this place is very good. I have a driving job currently so I have seen a lot of local gas stations and this one is by far the best. The staff is very nice and helpful. There's tons of room unlike most SF gas stations. I will be back.

Don’t provide the legally required free air for tires with fuel purchase

Decent prices, lots of pumping stations (seldom congested like the lower priced stations) plus a car wash make visiting this station stress free and convenient, wildly rare in SF.

First time car not clean correctly brought it back and I got a lecture. They said, Oh you should have bought the bigger better package. No I told the gentleman you will send this car through again it wasn't clean correctly. So he tried to belittle me and then he came out and looked at my car to see if I was lying. Then his boss came out to look at the car to see if I was lying.I Had to stop them from keeping my receipt while they continued to lecture me. All that I asked is to go through a car wash again. This is bad customer service.

Car wash does a good job! If you buy gas and add a car wash- you have to go inside to get your code. Staff is friendly.

Was running out of gas in San Francisco and decided to pull in to get some gas . I have an older sports car which uses 91 premium gas . I can count the number of times On one hand the number of times I've used non premium fuel for this car . I was told they neither had premium or mid level range (85) , only 81 was available which was super weird to me . I decided that since I was in a pinch I would use their gas . Shortly after my check engine light came on and now my car is parked in my garage barely able to be driven . This is the lowest quality of gas I've ever put in my car to the point that it's not drivable till I probably clean the vehicle gas tank with Techron. If you have a newer car you should be fine but yeah beware if your car is older

DONOT!!!! Use their car wash!!!!. Brought my new car here to get washed left with an entire car that now needs a paint job because the bristles had something stuck on them and dented my hood and scratched the entire car. I came back the next day (after noticing the damage) only to be told that "no one else reported damage" I filed a report with them to submit to the corporation that owned the car wash just to wait a month and find out they never sent it in. After going back and forth with the company that owns the wash for two months. They finally sent a person out to view the damage on the car. The appraisal guy said "this was definitely from the car wash" sent his photos in, and the insurance company declined the claim because again. No one else reported damage that day. I'm now having to go through my insurance to go after them. 3 month ordeal for a 10 dollar wash that didn't clean anything to begin with.
