An excellent source for graphic novels for school age kids, especially if you want more diversity than the typical marvel or DC approach. When I found out my 1st grader was trans, this store helped me find age appropriate books that they could see themselves in. And they in turn learned stories about brown kids, black kids, and immigrants from other graphic novels there that I would never have known existed. Staff are excellent and know their stock.

Eclectic and wide selection of comics, especially from queer and POC creators. It's so fun to get to walk by the shelves and check out what they have in stock.

Very very cool place this is. We were pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount and diversity of work from different artists in the shop. Ranging from comic books/magazines to pins and stickers, Silver Sprocket had so many unique, cute, and amusing items.

One of my favorite comic bookstores ever!! They have an amazing selection. It is dangerous to come here because I want to give them all my money. I’ve discovered so many great artists through them. Also the workers here are super friendly and can give you so many recs. You can spend hours at this place for real! Such a gem.

A comfy haven for queer and/or POC-centered zines, comics, stickers, posters, sweaters, and tees. They stock a diversity of authors, ranging from little known local submissions to Junji Ito, which always makes for a fun experience and constantly changing merchandise. The small seating area in the back is wonderful for browsing the selection, which is usually irreverent, leftist, and politically charged. Perfect!

Enormous collection of rad, queer-oriented comics. They're also super supportive of local artists. I'm so glad to have them in the neighborhood.

Ordered a book that never arrived. There was somehow confusion with shipping and the post office. I was a little upset over the matter but upon bringing it to the attention to the right person at Silver Sprocket the problem is being solved. Avi was extremely kind through our email correspondence and I can’t be more appreciative!!

I love quirky independent shops that allows various artistic expressions flourish, and this is one of them. When I used to manage a comic shop in San Antonio, we would bring a little of their flavor to the central Texas. I brought my family here and they were quite delighted to find such a selection of zines, books, and stories to fill their sponge like brains. I would definitely come back again. Thanks for the signed print!

We were completely ignored, not even a hello, for a good fifteen minutes, and then asked to don face masks, but still no greeting. I like to be acknowledged when I enter a retail establishment. They were not busy and there were multiple employees on the floor.
