Sundance Saloon has been a vibrant hub for country-western dancing since 1998, catering to the LGBT+ community and their friends. As the largest club of its kind in the country, it offers a variety of dance styles, including two-step, waltz, swing, and line dancing, with beginner lessons included in the $7 admission. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, making it a joyful place to spend Sunday or Thursday nights. Many reviews highlight the welcoming environment, where newcomers can easily join in and learn new dances. Guests appreciate the clear and easy lessons, as well as the friendly community that fosters connections and friendships. While some mention that drinks can be pricey, the overall experience is described as fun and lively. With a full bar available and an open invitation to everyone aged 21 and up, Sundance Saloon stands out as a beloved destination for dancing and socializing in San Francisco.
You can't help but have a good time there. Lots of very friendly people, lots of great music and lots of fun dancing. They even have a beginner's class so that you can learn new dances. The only thing that's not so good is the drinks are so expensive. They'll make you faint. But everything else was wonderful
