Joel Paulsen (Chief Investigator) is a consummate professional, researching analyst. This doesn't mean that everything is going my way legally, but maybe this is due to certain ethics or politics feature; but he nonetheless deserves his kudos and credit(s) for his really phenomenal work, and keeping up with an ethical standard practical approach, too, or as well.

California state bar should protect the public from bad attorneys. Instead the state bar accept bribes from corrupted attorneys and allows them to continue hurting clients. State Bar even dismiss complaints with forged by attorneys signatures of clients, proven by expert opinion. That’s not how it supposed to be. Join California state bar discussion group on Facebook and let’s share resources what we can do to protect our rights.

As you can see from their poor ratings and the commentary this organization does not protect the public. Due to this organization not doing their job, my family and I went to a D.A. and now the attorney who I complained about is no longer on the case. Yes, the D.A. did a better job that this organization.

I called and asked for a pro bono attorney dealing with trusts and was told there isn't one in the State of California.

UPDATE: The damning 5/23/2023 hearing of the joint Senate and Assembly Judiciary Committees on California State Bar corruption is up on my YouTube channel under the State Bar playlist. Also, I now have two investigators assigned to my complaints against attorneys. Progress! I also have new videos up of me challenging the Board of Trustees.Original Review: Just like all of the complaints below, the CA Bar has refused to take evidence from me for 4 years and has refused to investigate my reports of misconduct. My approach to deal with this going forward is to publicly shame the Bar at the Board of Trustee meetings and to out lawyers and misconduct at public comment. As an example which worked to make some small progress so far check out my videos where I make public comments to the Board and out their incompetence and corrupt lawyers. Come to a Board of Trustee meeting and tell them to their faces how you have been treated and put them on notice that the public is not going to tolerate this anymore! Links to the meetings and agendas are in the video descriptions.Go to Father in Exile You Tube channel and watch "Publicly Shaming the California Bar at Trustee Meeting and Calling Out Wayward Employees" and "California Bar Association Changes Course"

The State Bar of California, is suppose to listen to what clients have to say and not defend the crooked lawyers. I filed a complaint with them, due to the fact that the lawyer who was suppose to represent me in a workman's compensation case dragged my case out for a year and a half without referring me for proper treatment. I ended up firing the law firm, Goldberg & Loren in L.A. and had to close out my case. I just wanted the State Bar, to notify the attorney, that I had filed a complaint against him. Instead, the Deputy Trial Counsel, Naji Khatib, sent me a letter stating that the attorney, Daniel Samadi, did nothing wrong. Then Mr. Khatib sends me this case law to read, which had nothing to do with my case, because this was for a plaintiff case and not a workman's compensation case, in which I was a client not a plaintiff. The State Bar does nothing to help the clients, therefore we need to complain to our congressmen who should take a closer look at how the State Bar handles complaints against unjust lawyers. When a client is in severe pain and the lawyer drags his feet and makes all types of suggestions to the client but never follows through, then there should be someone who can help the client and not protect these crooked lawyers who are only out for the money. Goldberg & Loren still got paid by the insurance company, when they did not deserve any money for work that should have been done for their client. I am disgusted by the State Bar of California.

Get this. The reason I hired an attorney was because he said that my loved one that was incarcerated on a new charge would end up with the Lesser charge if he had all of the priors for some other stuff expunged before they went to court. So of course I was super excited and was like heck yeah let's do this okay so he asked me for a $10,000 retainer so that he can process the expungementsSo I was super excited and he was very enthusiastic about the fact that that is the one thing that needed to be done because that would make everything better. I started poking around and realized he can get it well he's incarcerated or being held. I verified it with four other law firms. This man insisted that he could do it and would not return my money. You know what his plan was? To submit them knowing they would be rejected and keep my $10,000 for nothing. So I submitted it to the bar and they basically sat on it for 4 months and then said that I have no claim. That is the only reason I hired a representation in California the only reason

Hey, State Bar of California, I'm writing a book about my experience with your office, including how you refused to refund my bar registration fee when I withdrew from the exam after a man attacked me while I was out jogging 6 weeks before the exam. Remember, you implied that I falsified a police report about the whole thing? Yeah. Guess you really needed the money from my registration fee because your emoyee, Sharon Pearl, was embezzling all that money from you at the time. Care to comment for the book? Did she embezzle my exam fee, too?

I cannot agree more with Kayleigh. The reason why so many attorneys are committing billing fraud and insanely overcharge clients is that the agency that regulates them allows and even enables them to do so!It’s nearly impossible to talk to a live person when you call the State Bar of California. Intake and investigation staff are all licensed attorneys. Arbitrators are licensed attorneys too, so of course the agency is always, always, always siding with corrupt attorneys. That’s why you need to stay away from attorneys who have “disciplinary records.” It’s extremely difficult to get to the point where an attorney will be reprimanded or disciplined. Therefore, if any lawyer is “disciplined,” then this attorney must have done really horrible things to their clients. The so-called State Bar of California is like there’s a sporting contest but both the athlete and the judge are the SAME person. Can you expect fairness in this case?If the State Bar of California fails you, don’t be discouraged. You can try contacting the California Consumer Affairs or California Department of Justice. After all, we “consume” legal services so shouldn’t these malpractices be dealt with by agencies that claim to protect “consumers?”

This organization thinks it's funny that a lawyer did elder abuse a 7 day notice with threat of eviction during covid-19. The guy at the state bar did not know about landlord retaliation. No more rights in California. No one cares yet they get paid.

Someone needs to check Courtney Gengler.. she is an unthical dishonest current attorney.. It seems the state bar does little to enforce proper behavior of Sutter county attorney's.. This whole system here is current and Courtney is the worst..
