We were treated to an exceptional dining experience! Every dish we savored arrived promptly, bursting with freshness and flavor. The attentive staff went above and beyond, ensuring our every need was met with genuine care. And oh, the garlic-infused delights were nothing short of spectacular! A culinary journey to remember, filled with great food, impeccable service, and unforgettable flavors! ?️?

The Stinking Rose is a garlic restaurant in San Francisco. Known for its very garlic-accentuated meals, it was supposed to be a good restaurant with Italian food. While we were happy with the service, it took two tries for the medium filet mignon to be acceptable. The hors d'oeuvre were good and the garlic already rich. The drinks were substandard with a weird tasting Aperol Spritz. However, the place is interesting to see and taste once when in San Francisco.

Terrible pizza. $29 before tip for four measly slices of pizza on dough that could pass for a tortilla.

We had family visiting from Costa Roca so we decided to take them to this SF classic restaurant. We were told we could not have 2 separate checks. No side dinner salads on the menu. I wanted the fettuccini with the sauce on side since sauce ingredients sounded rich. I was told that was not an option so I asked for fettuccini with extra light sauce. Pasta was served with lots of sauce which upset my stomach. We felt like the employees wanted us to leave once we finish our meal since our water glasses were not refilled. For an expensive restaurant for the portion sizes, we did not feel like the food or service were worth it.

Cute Italian place where you can people watch on Columbus Ave. All the dishes have a heavy amount of garlic as you'd expect.
