The store has acknowledged and apologized for the incident, but our community is nonetheless in shock that one of our most treasured members was asked to leave this store. We all feel unjustly targeted and humiliated as a result.

I was quietly browsing when staff approached me and asked me to please leave and not return. Incredulous I asked why and was told management didn't need to provide one. I'm flabbergasted! I'm assuming I was profiled by predical staff for reasons of dress, economics, race or sexual orientation but I don't want to go back to a store of bigots.

What a wonderful experience. I wandered into this store after a recommendation from a colleague. I was seeking a particular item, stationery for letters and envelopes. As soon as I entered, Danielle welcomed me with a smile and offered to help. She listened carefully and brought me a wide selection of products to choose from. Each package had a different theme with cards, stickers, and envelopes. I was so pleased with the price and cute factor of all the products. Danielle invited me to explore the store after I made my selection. There are so much fun gift ideas from coasters to bags to women's clothing. During checkout, Danielle explained the history of the store, shared other locations around the Bay Area, and promoted the fact that this store is Female and family owned. I look forward to coming back to explore and recommend you do too! Until next time.

Such a cute store filled with a random assortment of this and that. Great to find fun gifts, or just to peruse to see if anything strikes you. Probably should have bought this aplaca/llama

This is a beautiful and well-curated store with absolutely wonderful staff. Danielle went out of her way to chat with every customer and create a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Whether you need to do some holiday shopping or just want to do indulge in a little retail therapy, this aptly named store is the perfect place! I'll definitely be back soon.

I came to this shop right after a disappointing experience at Nest in Pacific Heights. (Someone told me that the Trovelore line of jewelry was carried by both shops.) This place was packed with shoppers and there was one lone Asian dude who was calmly checking out purchases, grabbing merchandise from the back room, and fielding questions from customers, including mine, which was, "Do you mind if I plug in my charger? My phone has died." He said there were several charger cords behind the counter and then plugged my phone in one of them and let me leisurely shop! So happy! Many items had me laughing out loud (a dish with the words "Where the fuck are my keys?" stamped into it) to wistful (a card: I hope their next life is filled with ten thousand tennis balls. I'm so sorry for your loss.). I bought two beautiful Trovelore brooches and two bags of tea. I wish I could have stayed longer, it was so much fun!

Over the years, I have enjoyed every visit to a Therapy Store in Mountain View. I was never thinking there were more locations. A half block off the 22 MUNI line 16th St and Valencia stop on Valencia is the original store. It was lots of fun picking out a gift with the young lady behind the counter. I even got something for myself. Christmas shopping will be upon me soon enough! The bonus? No driving across town and looking for parking!

Always ask for receipts. Thought I was paying for $34 earrings but receipt says $36 and the sku #s don’t even match. It’s the principle that counts here.

What a lovely gem of a store. My husband and I were visiting from LA for the weekend and ended up in this store after having dinner in the neighborhood. We met the charming owner Jing who was an absolute pleasure to talk to. The store is filled with clothes, souvenirs, books and thoughtful gifts. You can tell that a lot of love and care is put into curating the items. I could have spent hours in the store. Please support your local small business!

Stopped by the other night with a friend and had the best time looking through the store. Great selection of beautiful things, including clothes, books, nicknacks, cards, baby stuff, and more! Definitely a good store to stop by if you are looking for gifts, their card selection was great too. The cashier/owner? was so sweet and helpful and I can't wait to drop by again!
