About Transamerica Pyramid
The Transamerica Pyramid is the most unique and defining skyscraper in the history of San Francisco, a worldwide symbol of the city. Its architecture is a cool and clever twist of a pyramid, creating a distinctive and geometrically unique shape. While it was once possibly the most hated building, residents have grown to love it. The spot offers endless photo opportunities of its structural features. Visitors can enjoy a delicious quiet latte at the Pyramid Cafe on the first floor, which has lovely indoor or outdoor seating and fresh locally roasted beans. There is also a public park with seating and shade, a gallery in the lobby, and exhibits to check out. It is definitely worth visiting and photographing when in San Francisco.
