We usually love this neighborhood UPS store, but unfortunately had a very negative experience with their notary services. We reserved an appointment online, left work early, and arrived on time—only to be told the notary was out to lunch for another hour. When we explained that we had booked the appointment for that time, we were told that appointments are simply “when the notary is available.” We had chosen an available time slot, yet were dismissed with “have a nice day.”
There was no apology, no attempt to offer a solution, and the staff was rude and dismissive. Given that their notary hours don’t extend past 3pm, this was especially frustrating. We’ll continue to use this UPS for shipping and other needs, but would strongly caution against relying on them for notary services.

Do NOT print here. It’s a scam. The “base fee” for printing + the cost of printing a sheet is astronomical vs. places nearby. I paid nearly $25 for 7 sheets of paper. They tried charging me extra for asking to use scissors after, as well. The staff were rude and unhelpful with every other patron that walked in, as well. Go to *literally* any other printing service anywhere else.

I was there for just 1 item return. It would have taken 30 seconds for her to scan my bar code and print the label. I was there at least 2 minutes before closing and the woman had already locked the door. She looked at me and acted like she she would make no effort. It was still before 5 pm when I returned to my car to go back home

FYI if you need to mail a letter internationally to try USPS across the street first. If USPS’ speed isn’t fast enough, make sure to get a quote online on the UPS website and ask for the specific shipping level so you don’t get upsold like I did today, spending $190 on a letter that will get there tomorrow. When asked if there were other options other than “next day shipping” since I didn’t need it to be that fast, they said no. When checking later on UPS’ website there are other shipping speeds for international mail.

They did not like the packing of my box using paper to cover labels and QR codes on boxes. They did not have a replacement box in stock at all. The workers said to each other how they did not have access to a certain part of the building that may of had more boxes. This seems like poor management to not habe things in stock/ not trust employees in all parts of the building's storage.

This is NOT UPS (as the employee made clear to me today), this is a separate entity that simply acts as a pick up spot. They look to up-charge you for pick ups that should be free, that is how this store makes money. Recommend skipping this store and just scheduling UPS to come pick your box up from home, which is free of charge and handled by UPS.
The woman who works here most days really struggles with customer service and has predatory practices. My latest encounter with her was on March 20th at 9am and I’ve flagged this franchise location and the employee to the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
