I shipped a hand-painted artwork for a dear friend through this UPS Store, and it never made it to the destination. What made this worse was the complete lack of empathy from the staff. When I explained the sentimental value, their response was essentially “these things happen” and “we can’t do anything about it.”
They gave me an email to file a complaint, but I never received any response. No follow-up, no accountability, and no effort to make things right. Losing something irreplaceable is bad enough, but the dismissive attitude and lack of customer care was truly disappointing.
If your shipment is valuable—especially if it’s personal or one-of-a-kind—think twice before trusting it to this location.

This store is a scam be careful- I sent an important package that was never picked up , and when I came back to the store to check on it they said “assume it was stolen from the store before a driver picked it up” as apparently theft is common here. Unless it’s random Amazon returns, this is not a serious store please don’t lose your valuable packages.

These are the 2 most unfriendly, unhelpful woman I have ever come across. I ship all the tone and all the ups stores I go to are so accommodating and nice, doing everything to help.
These 2 woman were no,no,no to everyone and turned away or overcharged everyone. DONT GO TO THIS UPS.

First, web states they open at 8:30am on Wednesday (5/1/24)the time posted at the door is 9am and opened at 9am. Second the young Asian lady who opened door had zero personality, no good morning or smile. Just wished there was better customer service; it doesn’t take a lot to say hello or a smile.

When you call this location it will prompt you to press 9 to speak to a person. When you press 9 the call hangs up.
Save yourself the hassle and go to the location on Sloat.

This store has uneven service. It depends on who you get at the counter. I recently sent for printing a zip file.A day later, thinking that was plenty of time, I went to pick it up. Well, they hadn't received it. At the counter I sent it 4 times again. Finally, they received it.A surly, long dark haired attendant said she would print the file. I said would 30 minutes be ok? Did she know how to open a zip? I could open it and copy them over.I checked back in 40 minutes. Nope. Wasn't printed. I said another 30 minutes? I went next door, to Que Syrah to wait. It took almost 2 hours for 15 pages to be printed in black and white.It isn't just this inefficiency, it's the attitude. I had to add parking meter, find a place to hang out and wasted time. 15 pages?This should be a convenient place that takes shipments when I'm not home. A place to return packages, send packages, large print jobs. Not a lot of demands. No attitude needed just efficiency.The Postal Chase up the block isn't better. Their staff there are moody, rude and bordering on discriminatory. They get your packages, mail, fax (yes some places still use fax) mixed up constantly, and everything is a drama.Can't we have a place to do simple office errands well, friendly with no attitude?

The agent and Notary (I believe her name is Micky or Mindy or Nicki) does an outstanding job. She’s highly intelligent, super efficient and even has a great sense of humor. I try to go there when she’s working to ensure excellent service.

They were not open at 8:30 even though that’s the posted opening time. It was still locked up and no one was there, I waited around for a several min and no one showed up. I ended up having to take my package on muni with me to work which was extremely inconvenient.
