This bank sucks. I got in at 1220 pm. I told the teller I want to open checking and savings account. The teller asked me if I have an appointment and I said no. When I got there there was nobody waiting. There’s only another person sitting down being helped by another person. The teller asked me if I have an identification I told him I have ID and then he ask me if I have social security. I said yes. I have the new California drivers license that you can use to go inside federal building and airport to check in where DMV had verified already my documents. Then he said he needs proof he need to see the social security card. I told him yes but I don’t have my social security card with me. The way he looks at me as if I am homeless.I told him I live 5 minutes away I will go get it. Then he said it takes 30 to 40 minutes and they closing at 1pm. This person is in a hurry to leave, pronto on time. Worst customer service. I don’t recommend this bank. I have two other banks in the same area and just want to get another bank account. This teller is definitely judgmental. Hahahaha. I am on my car and just heard the bank is the best from some jd powers. Hahahaha. I don’t believe that ad. This bank sucks.I am glad I was not able to open an account on this bank.

Very bad experience!! I have been a Long term customer with US bank and always receive good customer service from them. But today I encountered a very bad service and attitude from a teller, name "Christian" here. I went to the bank and looking to get some quarters for my business. I asked politely if I can get 200 dollars in quarters from him. Luckily they had quarters today. He brought a full box of quarters out and handed out 20 rolls quarters through the window for me. I asked if he can give me a box so I can carry those quarters together to the car. He said no box. And I was thinking ok maybe they ran out of box, then I asked politely if he get give me a bag. His response was very straight, no bag. Ok. And then I asked if he has an envelope to give me, and then he handed me 2 regular mail size envelopes. And I asked again if he has a letter size yellow envelope, his response was straight "no". And then I was shocked and asked him "how do you think I could carry these quarters to my car". He said "I don't know, just carry them by hands". I was like... What? The whole branch has no box, no bag, no envelope? Do you think I will believe it? At the end, I carried 10 rolls of quarters to the car and then went back in and carried the other 10 rolls. What a bad experience!!

Ms. R, can’t recall her surname but remember her initial was unprofessional., said to us, “You need to be patient. You did not make an appointment. I can’t do anything about it!” We were waiting 15 mins. The next problem was she kept asking unnecessary questions, “Which Bank do you use to pay your bills with? Which checking account you use to pay your bills? Do you use auto pay?” It took her 40 mins. to add one person to my safe deposit box. We just did the same thing at Chase Bank and we were out in 15 mins.! He verified our profile like she did. If she stopped asking SOOOO many questions we would’ve been out in 20 mins., instead it took her 40 mins. minus the waiting time of 15 mins. She asked both of us the same irrelevant questions. She needs to be retrained in being courteous and professional to the customers. We’re not stupid. Our perception is based on your handling the customers and your demeanor and how you communicate with the customer. The security Guard was professional I want to add. At least someone at that branch was courteous and respectful.

Went last Friday to add a person to the safe deposit box. We waited 15 minutes but that wasn't the problem as we didn't make an appointment. The rep., her ltarts with an R, called out "You need to be patient. I can't do anything about it and you didn't make an appointment". I thought that response was inappropriate. Finally we saw her. She kept asking many unnecessary irrelevant questions, "How do you pay your bills?! What bank do you use? What checking account do you use to pay your bills?" She asked me and my partner the same questions as if she was feeling us out to sell us their products. As a result it took 40 minutes to add one person to the account. We just did the same thing at Chase Bank and I created an access code. We were out in 15 mins. At US Bank I didn't create an access code. Spending 3/4 of an hour to add another person to the account and to verify the account holder's profile should not take that long. If she didn't ask sooo many irrelevant questions I'm sure the process would've taken 20 mins max. Chase Bank verified our profile too. Ms. R is unprofessional. She also need to be retrained being courteous towards the customers, even if she was over whelmed. Unnecessary response from her, "You need to be patient blah blah blah. The security Guard was courteous and professional, however.

I've been a US Bank customer for 25 years. Once, this was a really good bank. But not anymore. I've watched several branches in SF close, making it more inconvenient to do my banking. I've had tellers at this branch try to hard sell me into opening new accounts I don't need or not answer questions I had about my accounts. I've also had tellers refuse to honor checks I wanted to deposit that were made out to me and my wife (usually tax refunds), even when she had valid ID and was willing to sign for them. They simply didn't want to bother with doing that. It happened again today. I tried to call the branch and speak with the branch manager about this and got voice mail instead when I called. I finally managed to talk by email with a regional manager (after calling the 800 customer service number) who "assured" me the problem would be dealt with. Sorry, but when different tellers over a period of time refuse to honor checks that ANY OTHER bank would accept it's pretty obvious the problem clearly has NOT been nor will it be "dealt with." It's time to find a different bank.

So came here today to withdraw $1100 and since the atm doesn't let you withdraw more than that I'm stuck having to go inside. The teller Asian man calls me over and I tell him I need to withdraw $1100 he then goes what you going to do with the money oh you going shopping? in a sarcastic way and I just look at him hard and don't say anything. Then he goes oh you paying bills? I look at him hard and don't say anything. He then proceeds to count my money and then tells me have fun enjoy and doesn't ask or gives me the receipt because he knows what he's doing because the receipt has the name and I think cash box number of the teller. I would know I use to be a teller and if I pulled the crap that he did all hell would break loose! I'm heated writing this. First of all who the eff is he to be asking me what I'm going to do with my money that's not professional at all! He was rude, disrespectful, and just a straight up c***. I'm just going to close my account with this bank. This is the straw that broke the camels back because this isn't the first time I've gotten rude disrespectful service from here there's another a**hole that works here and he's the same way plus some of the other inept tellers that messed up one of my tranasactions because she wasn't paying attention

I have been trying to get ahold of the bank with 6400 number and never got through for the fact that something was happening with my account. I moved from the city and had this bank for many years. What I'm upset about was I never got notified until I tried to use my card and it was locked. It would of been great if at this time was able to get through to them.us bank is a really good bank but I should of change branches when I moved would of had much much better service

This location is terrible. There is always a line and only one or two tellers with some useless looking manager wandering around not helping. This locations ATM is CONSTANTLY broken at night too. The tellers chit chat waaaay too much while the line keeps growing. This place is ridiculous. Someone needs to tell Silvia this is not social hour. There was an elderly Latino woman who went to her window with absolutely no banking business whatsoever and they talked for at least 7 minutes while the line grew out past the door on a Saturday afternoon when they close early. When I got to her window, I asked for $40 in fives. She then tried to give me tens and I said no, I need them for work. She got an attitude with me and demanded to know if I was a US bank customer, which I am. After that wait I was not leaving without the proper change I had asked for.
