I was there to drop off a return package with a return label from the seller, waited in line for 20 or more minutes and when I approached the counter, I asked this Chinese male clerk, in his early fifties for a piece of scotch tape to affix the label on the box, this mean person said they donât have tape and told to buy a whole new roll of scotch tape that cost about $10 just to affix the return label on the small box. Just minutes before, I saw his co-worker, another female mail clerk pulled out some tape to help another customer bundle the 2 packages together. So I know he was lying and just being mean. if he just have a little bit of curtesy and a little bit of his heart left, he would make a customerâs life much easier, but, apparently, this man doesnât have it. This man set a very bad example for government workers. Shame on him!

I needed to buy a block of stamps. During my lunch time a rushed to the Post Office. Guess what. Only one person was helping people. The rest of employees were in the back doing what knows what. Itâs a turtle world. Everyone is soooooo slow. They are serving people, but apparently they are not. They getting their salary. Turtle world? Sleeping Beauty World? It took me 40 minutes.

The reviews here and on yelp are true, the entire staff at this Lakeshore Sloat Blvd post office, with the exception of the youthful, sandy-brunette longer haired 30-something male, are extraordinarily rude and callous. The tall, bald, middle-aged clerk and Sandra are the worst. Incredibly, they recently refused to serve me.Last year I bought Media Mail postage here and it turned out that the clerk here printed a label w/the wrong address. She had rushed my transaction, neglecting to let me double-check that her printed label's address matched what I had originally written on the parcel. Alas, the parcel was delivered to the wrong address, and the USPS toll-free customer service clerk claimed I had no recourse, b/c they only deliver to the address that is on their printed label and not what the sender has originally written. I then vowed to a-l-w-a-y-s double-check the accuracy of the address showing on the counter touch-screen before they print their own label. For this recent mailing at Lakeshore, the unfriendly, unresponsive drone, Sandra was on duty. She typed in an address which popped up on the counter screen, and I immediately asked to compare it with my own records before printing her label. She completely ignored me and began printing and sticking her label on my parcel. I swiftly intervened to stop her from affixing it, which triggered her to refuse to serve me. The tall, bald headed, caucasion was equally bitter and antagonistic, also refusing me to serve. I noticed he was rude and impatient with his customer, too, scolding her for having a staple to the envelope she was mailing. Both workers wore a fed-up face, like they had given up altogether, just here for a paycheck, to hell with everyone.Unlike many Americans, I wholly support the institution of a federal postal system, and I loathe the business and labor practices of the USPS' major rivals in the private sector, United Parcel Service and FedEx, both notoriously anti-labor. Still, there's no denying that USPS' management, pay, and hiring practices suck. Management is responsible for the dysfunction and poor reputation of the their retail wing. Lakeshore's workers are dreary, beaten down by an albeit lousy employer, but they are spoiled goods now, they've half-alive zombies who have given up. Have some mercy, USPS, and please relieve them of their misery by offering early retirement.UNTIL THE ENTIRE STAFF HAS BEEN REVAMPED HERE, AVOID LAKESHORE PLAZA POST OFFICE AT ALL COSTS.

Typical peopleâs attitude from the CCP (The Chinese Communist Party)For example: they are only taught how to do A, B and C⌠and the rest of the alphabet they not even heard about it.They lost my package and canât do anything about to help. And I see now why the reviews are so bad. this locations has lost many other packages from other people.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Often visited to drop off large package quantities several times and each time they demanded that I go to Luckys to use their shopping carts and empty all my packages on the front desk myself with no assistance provided. I was provided no help whatsoever. additionally, I rent a P.o. box at this location, with packages marked as delivered and picture proof provided by the carrier, but the USPS workers insist that they didnât receive it and refuse to check. Even after I show picture proof that my parcels have been delivered, their incessant attitudes keep them from checking if the packages arrived or not. 0!! This interaction is a recurring problem everytime I pick up parcels. They are grumpy, and refuse to input their USPS knowledge surrounding delivered packages, and assisting in overseeing packages needing to be delivered.

This is my favorite post office. I find the staff are totally professional. Their hours are excellent. The self-serve kiosk is always working, and the lady who accepts the packages at the counter is amazingly efficient and responsive. My only problem with this location is itâs hard to access on public transportation, which is not the USPSâs problem, but since the West Portal station is going to be closed for so long due to the fire there, I wish the postmaster would go to bat with MUNI over re-routing some buses to Lakeshore Plaza.
