I don’t remember names unfortunately but the woman who helped me out today has an EYE - I came in looking for nicer clothes after landing a new job and she pulled some items I would never look at on my own and I now have my first “real” blouse - off the charts beautiful. She also very politely understood that the sale rack was more comfortable for my age/situation & I’m so grateful. Gorgeous stuff - I’ll be back every time I want to treat myself to something beautiful :) Thank you!

I’m a frequent customer of the brand but the service at this store is cold and off-putting. I don’t need them to fawn over me or be fake nice but it would be nice of them not to act like they are doing me a huge favor if I ask to try something on. Especially with the price point of the clothing, I expect a little more attentive service. I think if you come in and they don’t think you can afford to shop there, they’re standoffish. Their demeanor completely changed when I pulled out my card to make a purchase. Since I know my size at this brand there’s no reason to go into this store; I can just shop online or at Neiman’s. (The clothes are still beautiful and high-quality and perfect for my lifestyle - this is not their fault!)

The woman working there was extremely rude to me and shouted questions at me across the store about the clothing I was trying on. Instead of asking if I needed help or another size she would aggressively & quickly walk by, anytime I touched an item she would pick it up and remove it from the rack. It was so strange, almost like she didn’t even want me there or trying anything on. There was a gentleman getting private styling and I truly felt like she was treating me as if I was not a wealthy looking client therefore I should leave. I have over 50 Vince pieces and did not appreciate the hostility. Her demeanor was condescending to say the least. I will never shop at Vince again. Not sure how this woman is still employed

Lady was pretty rude instead of being helpful. Looks like almost everyone had the same experience so no surprise. Definitely not buying vince after today’s experience.

I’m a frequent customer of the brand but this is my first time in the San Fran store and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The manager, Emily, was extremely rude from the very beginning and passively aggressively answered everything. I would love to think that it was just a bad day for her but judging on past reviews and other friends experiences in the store it seems to be an almost consistently bad experience. Don’t waste your time on the shop

I had the same experience as others. The store manager had an extremely condescending tone when I was browsing clothes, and she left a sour taste in my otherwise fine experience. The other male associate was very pleasant.
I headed to some other stores like Theory and Zara, and their service was much nicer.

Amazing high-touch customer service. Emma stayed open late to help with an urgent need and then dropped the item off at our house since they didn’t have the size / color combination I was looking for in store. Great experience.

I love Vince and every state I go to, I make sure to visit their local stores. This morning I visited the store in downtown SF. When I got there, I realized I was 20 min earlier. Arrived at 9.40am. Since I love Vince very much, I decided to wait 20 minutes. A lady appeared at around 10.01am. I gave her a few minutes to open the store and approached to the door at exactly 10.04. She was inside holding the door - I thought she was going to open the door, so I smiled but she stared at me without smiling back or saying/doing anything. So, I pushed the door, she stood there without letting me in, and said - “how can I help you?” with an angry face. For some reason she looked very aggressive. So, I smiled again and said - “are you guys, open?”, she still looked at me with dull face and repeated ‘yeah, how can I help’ but blocking my entrance - physically standing there at the entrance. I felt very unwelcomed and left the store. She did not do or say anything to salvage the situation. This is not OK for the business. Hope the management does something about it.

We had such a great experience visiting this store and working with the store manager, Emily. She was so patient and helpful as we tried on clothes and even kept our 19 month old entertained while we shopped. When we had found our clothes she held the items for us for a few days until they went on sale. I had previously purchased Vince items on-line but the experience with Emily at the store was so pleasant (and saved us quite a bit of money) that I will always choose to go into the SF store whenever I'm in need of a wardrobe refresh. Highly recommend visiting this store!

Worst customer service ever. Woman closing the store on 2.22.24 made me extremely uncomfortable and I regret giving Vince my money now. At least after reading all the other reviews, I know it’s her, and she treats everyone poorly. Vince upper management, pay attention- You’re losing customers.

Vince carries really high quality classic pieces and clothes. It is a pleasure to shop here. The staff has always been very accommodating and friendly to us. I once had my makeup explode on me in my bag, and the staff helped me clean my bag, giving me whipes, spray, and a plastic tub to help me clean it out. They went above and beyond. Some of my favorite pieces are from Vince. Thank you!

Really hostile customer service :( I was browsing the sale section while Emily (store manager) kept peering over my shoulder, following me and making me feel extremely uncomfortable - was kind of acting like I was going to steal something? Really off-putting. When she asked if I found what I was looking for, I replied “No just looking” since I was just browsing. But then she immediately gives me a disgusted look, points to the front door and says “[other sales associate name] can let you out then”.Emily also kept boasting about how she’s worked there for 10yrs to other customers, and after this interaction I honestly don’t trust a brand if they’ve kept someone for so long that bullies customers and makes them feel uncomfortable just for stepping into their store.
