REPLY TO OWNER:Johnathan,May I call you Johnathan? So listen Johnathan, I wanted to apologize for hanging up at the end of our call without saying goodbye or I love you. You must understand, I was very busy caring for my dog that was injured at your facility, and did not have a ton of spare time deal with the owner of that facility calling to explain how it's actually my fault while childishly constructing a narrative that conveniently side steps any accountability for injuries sustained as a patron of your business. As much as I'd love to sit here and individually refute the numerous falsehoods in your reply, I'll save us both the time and simply say that the way you and your staff handled my dogs care was reprehensible; further, the way you chose to address the issue, by blaming the owner for an avoidable injury to their pet by your staff carrying out the most basic service, was completely unprofessional. I can sympathize, that you are trying to insulate your business from any fallout from this incident. That said, I think someone who shows a pathological inability to take the smallest amount of accountability, and would rather lie publicly at the expense of the injured party, probably isn't the type of person who should be running a business that cares for animals.Wishing you the very best,HeatherORIGINAL REVIEW:Brought my dog in for a flea bath, she is a bit old, not the best hips. When I dropped her off the individual who received her was not receptive to me giving him information about my dogs health and temperament (shes very sweet and calm but anxious and old).I picked her up and she was limping and could barley pick up her rear end. I asked if something happened and they said ostensibly "idk I don't think so" and dismissed my concerns. Took an uber pet home and gave her gabapentin, will not put her through the Wags experience again, poor baby

Trimmed my girl's hair way too close to the skin, irritated it enough that I had to put her in a cone for a week.

I just wish they had done a better job on my dogs haircut they didn't seem interested in feedback or entertaining the possibility of doing anything to make it right though

Johnny and the team always took the best care of our dog. Coal always looks forward to being dropped off at the Ranch. It’s so reassuring to have a place where we don’t have to worry about our pup when we are traveling.

Went above and beyond! Finally my dog can run in the summer without the extra layer holding her back, very freeing!! I told the lady there that my dog May May was anxious and she kept her by her side until I picked her up. They added a cute bandanna as a bonus, this shows how much they care about their loyal customers and to make the dog feel special. Out of most dog grooming places in SF, wags has the most affordable and plus you can see them very hard working at the window. Definitely will be coming back! Thank you wags team!P.S if the wags team is reading them please tell the lady thank you so much, I felt very confident and safe when I left my dog with her

Great crew of people working here taking care of our (sometimes too) furry little one. Never had a problem in our last 10+ years coming here for service.

Chris is the friendliest and happiest dude and trusted to take care of our pup. They do a great job, and despite our pup being terrified going in, she is always happy inside and after.

We've taken our corgi to Wags several times for nail trims and a bath + brush out. Our boy is fussy at home when we try to clip his nails and he absolutely hates getting blow dried. However, we've been told he's easygoing and well behaved with the Wags team. He's always super happy when we pick him up and he always has a great time playing with other dogs while he waits to get groomed.
