Incompetent people work in the pharmacy here. Have fun

This review is for Mei. She went way beyond my expectations in locating a product I needed. We couldn't see it on the shelf and so I left the section we were in to pay for my other products. While up at the checkout line, Mei suddenly appeared! After I had left her, she continued looking for that product and found itMost employees would have stopped looking for something when at first glance it seemed not to be on the shelf. The fact she was tenacious and cared enough to find it for me was now worthy Mei is a gem!

Worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Twice now my prescriptions have been "in processing" over two days. Impossible to get on the phone with someone who can help. Just horrrible

Longest wait ever at the pharmacy. Every time. I waited 45 mins on a random Wednesday for a prescription that isn't controlled. It wasn't even packaged. It had been called in 2 days before. I'm writing this while waiting for my flu shot

This has to be one of the worst pharmacies I've ever had to deal with. Every month I have the same issue with one of my prescriptions and am left for days without it. Every. Single. Month. I can't tell you how stressful that it. Only 2 people at this location actually know what they are doing and are able to handle problems that arise. And of course those 2 people deserve time off so when they're not working god forbid something go wrong. They are constantly hiring and training new employees yet always understaffed.I don't typically like to write negative reviews but I have yet to have one positive experience here.

After living in the neighborhood for 10+ years I have to say this place has gone down the hill and hit rock bottom. Many of the employees are actually nice so it must be management. Today was my worst day there because of a security Gard that believes he's above the law and everyone and can intimidate and do and say what he wants. He will threaten with all sorts of things because 99% will back off. But when challenged by someone who knows his rights, he came up a bit short. Sad part is that he probably doesn't work for Walgreens but they get the bad reputation. Definitely not your friendly neighborhood store anymore.

The main store is fine... clean, well stocked, nice personnel, etc. No problems at all. 5 stars. Can't say the same about the pharmacy. The people are basically nice, no real complaints about them. But there aren't enough of them. It's absolutely normal to see 4 or 5 people in line for one window (second one is never open), and the line moves so slowly. And even when you get to the window, it still takes way too long... so many steps, SO SLOW! Not doing this anymore. I'm going to find an online delivery.

I was on hold with the pharmacy for 20 minutes. I had one quick question that required a yes or no answer. They have picked up the phone and put me back on hold 10 times already. Don't try to call!

As with most Walgreens, well taken care of and responsive staff. This is the first Walgreens I've been to with a security guard silently greeting customers. I guess I'm glad they're there. From what I've seen in the news, they get about 40 times the amount of theft in San Francisco as the average Walgreens. This is a rather high-end shopping and dining area so they would definitely need a bit more attention than usual.

Transferred my scripts seamlessly online and confirmed health insurance information in person. A few of my Rx expired and the pharmacy contacted my physicians for renewal. Two days later I picked up my drugs. No line at 9:15am. Filled my scripts with a 90 day supply. No problem with the new insurance and copayment. The staff were ever helpful. Definitely a great experience!I'm planning to relocate and I can change my pickup pharmacy online using the app. Fabulous!

The photo gifts were supposed to be ready 1/13/22 by 5:30 pm. At 7:30 I called & I was told the staff that does the photos are gone for the day. They have my email and phone numbers yet I would not have known. I understand things happen so I left my phone number so they can call me for when it's ready. Saturday Jan 15 at 8:44 pm, I have screenshots that my items are still processing. Sunday Jan 16 at 6:51 am, I finally received an email alert my project photos are ready for pick up. When I picked up at 9 am, Cris (she) the "manager" told me it's not their fault because they completed the project Dec 14 around noon. She never even apologized, not once & proceeded to insult me by telling me out loud in front of her staff (great example) & customers I should accept a $5 future credit since the item is already heavily discounted. I was baffled she had no empathy at all & very insulting yet she's a manager. When I asked if anyone else can help me she told me to call Corporate & it's their fault the alert system is broken, not her fault. Yikes! When I did agree to call Corporate she threatened me she will throw away my daughter & family's portraits since I'll be calling corporate. WTF?!Yes I called corporate, I spoke to a lady name Sophia and she was dumbfounded. It's never about the $, and you don't have to insult customers either. Whew!

I totally agree with the other reviews on the rudeness of the staff in this Walgreens as well as their very slow service. I ended up waiting for 30 minutes to have one medication processed after I was told to wait 10 minutes. The place was not very busy that time. There were several pharmacists and technicians who were doing nothing but just standing and chatting with each other while one or two are working their butts out to attend to their tasks, making these few staff stressed out and come out rude to customers. Not a very good customer service. I won't come to this place again or recommend if to anyone.

I'm currently in patient at UCSF Mission Bay. Staff here suggested I consent to a medication delivery service from this Walgreens for my post op needs. I agreed, currently the day before discharge and a medication was ordered via this delivery service. The gal gets to my room, immediately unfriendly, no smile, no kind demeanor. She starts by telling me they didn't have the entire quantity of medication ordered (no big deal they'll ship it to me). She then tells me my copay. I've been on this medication numerous time before and never had a copay, I attempt to tell her this and she immediately gets an attitude and argues with me. I was so taken aback by her behavior and attitude. I said forget it and asked my nurse to have my Dr send the script to my home pharmacy. Not worth dealing with this woman who clearly didn't want to do more than the bare minimum of work. So be it a TAR needs to be done. If it helps a patient out and prevents them from having a copay they can't afford, you do it. No need to argue and make the patient feel in the wrong. Horrible experience, don't suggest you sign up for this service with UCSF if you are given the choice, in theory it seems great, reality not so much.

This Walgreens is staffed with incompetent, rude people with a terrible work ethic. They are unable to fill a bottle with pills and deliver it to the customer. The last time I attempted to fill a prescription here, they lost the bottle with the pills and wouldn't refill the prescription. After 10 minutes of searching, I left and had my prescription transferred to another pharmacy. These people should be ashamed of their work; they don't earn their paychecks. Hopefully, UCSF will terminate their contract soon and let another pharmacy fill this location. EDIT: I went to CVS and had everything filled out in no time flat. The price was significantly cheaper.
