I never write a bad review about a place unless my experience or treatment was egregious and appalling. This has got to be the most ransacked and emptied Walgreens I’ve ever seen. Shelf after shelf emptied of merchandise through constant theft. I felt like I was in war time with supplies in acute shortage. The blame lies with Walgreens lax policy on loss prevention enforcement (I know they’re bound by our litigious legal environment) but most of the blame is on local leadership and their complete incompetence. I hope they turn the corner because this is sad af.

Very bad service, the man in front of In Walgreens on Geary Blvd between 17th AVE, there is an elderly Chinese male cashier with a very rude service attitude, which makes customers feel very uncomfortable! I hope he can improve the quality of his service!

Used to be quick and efficient but that’s changed. Placing a prescription on Saturday, not ready until Wednesday.Wait 20 minutes in line to pick up “express order” and only two customers have been helped.Signs say due to staffing pharmacy closing at 6PM now. Walgreens, hire more people or more efficient people lGoing to go to a CVS or a local pharmacy instead, even it’s out of the way.

I really hate dealing with people who has no basic sense on running business or customer service.I was at Walgreen location as I happen to be around and needed to deposit money. I have a bank which allows different ways to deposit money including going to either Walgreens or CVS to deposit upto 999 $.I’ve been using this service numerous at multiple locations in SF or in East bay with no issues until I met this “ manager “ who has so much authority that he is only allowing 500 at this location. Lol He doesn’t even have legitimate reason why he has different rules when bank even states it’s up to 999 $ at any Walgreen or CVS location.I would never go back to this place . This place already looks like rundown and sad.

The security guard that is working as of 12:09pm on August 16,2023, should have his duties suspended by his supervisor. He is lazy and rude. And is a rascist. I came in looking for milk for my wife and our newborn baby boy, he quickly followed me around the whole store. Mumbling under his breath rascist slurs @ me. The store literally had no milk, barely anything really. The guard followed me out the store, yelling at me to never come back. Calling me every name in book. I am not a thief. My wife and newborn needed milk, the store did not have. So I left the store. There was no need for this undereducated worthless excuse of a human being to treat me like this. I only wish Karma catches up with him. I won't be shopping here anymore. #hirebetterhumanbeings#securityguard?

Quit crying and vote Republican....maybe you wouldn't have a war zone of a Walgreen's.

A typical trip to Wallgreens: ordered photo prints the night before. Got an email saying they were ready. They were not ready. Thirty minutes after arriving I got my prints. More than half the store is behind lock and key and the skeleton crew there gives you attitude if you ask for help. This experience is all too familiar with Walgreens. This is why I avoid brick and mortar on an increasing basis. This is not a sustainable business.

Im giving it 5 stars because it is still open. We need it to stay open. We need to have access to walgreen. We need to come together and take back our neighborhood. Say something if people are stealing. Make some noise. Videotape. Say something and do something.

I like that this pharmacy offers medication delivery, it's a convenient option for those who can't leave their home.

First, Walgreens on Geary Street treats all of its customers as if they thieves. When you walk in, you immediately feel like you've been identified as a shoplifting threat. I despise feeling that way. Second, Walgreens has taken a nationwide stance not to supply legal abortion drugs based on threats of states who seek to defy the law. These two factors have led me to a decision: I will not set foot in any Walgreens until I no longer feel like a criminal and until Walgreens supplies all legal drugs to our citizens.
