Went to take passport photos at this branch. In store experience was smooth enough, most staff were friendly. However, I never received the digital copies of my photos as requested so I called to ask them about it. No one answered the phone in photo department so I was transferred to a store clerk. The store clerk was clueless about what I was talking about so she transferred me to her manager. The manager was very rude and cut me off as soon as I mentioned the word photo and said "hold up, this is not the photo department" and put me on hold again. Waited for about 3 minutes on the phone and nothing happened and everything just went radio silence.

Pharmacy refused to look up my insurance info without PCN, which is not on my insurance card. No pharmacy has ever done this before. They wouldn’t look up my GRP number or RX bin. Pharmacist was rude and confrontational when I tried to ask why

The pharmacy received my prescription 10+ days ago, but it wasn't until I went to pick up the Rx, did the pharmacy contact my provider about delays...their explanation, we just opened an hour ago...

I always found staff's professional and respectful. They deserve extra pts for that considering the crap they have to put up with on a constant basis.

The pharmacy people are rude they take 40 minutes to answer the phone you ain't ask them to transfer your medication they tell you to call the other pharmacy and get it transferred they are super lazy at that place no wonder it has a low star rating they may as well close it

I tried to call them to ask the pharmacist a question about my medication. I was put on hold for over an hour and when they answered they immediately hung up on me.

Horrible security guards out of control and staff has no control over them. Repeatedly ask them to leave me alone as I was waiting to pick up prescription and they followed me out of the store calling me names. Complained to the pharmacist and she said couldn’t do anything. Emailed Walgreens corporate! Avoid at all cost’s horrible store anyway everything under lock and key takes double the time to do your shopping because someone has to unlock a pack of gum?

Awfulllllllllllllllll. Pharmacy line is 30-45 minutes and there are only two chairs. Really sad they make elderly folks wait in line for this long. It's faster for me to walk to the location on market street a mile away than it is to wait in this cursed line.
Also, everything is behind anti theft plastic barriers so the shopping experience is really top-notch

RACIAL PROFILING - I've been getting prescriptions from this Walgreens for 20* years. I am a 62 year old African American psychologist and I will advise you that this Walgreens is racist and condescending. Today I went to get a prescription filled after leaving the dentist. The pharmacist looks at me and decides that I need to explain my dental history before getting the prescription because he stated that he did not understand why I would have an oral surgeon in San Francisco and and a dentist in San Leandro. I explained to him that I'm in the process of having 2 implants on the upper right side but my previous dentist did a procedure which required that he extract a MOLAR which is super painful. So I'm standing there with a visibly swollen face and blood visible from a soaked cotton gauze pad. I told him to review my record so that he could see that my original dentist had prescribed meds for the very tooth that he is questioning me about. I won't be returning and hope that this Walgreens closes like so many have in San Francisco.

Unfortunately, my go-to pharmacy closed and I was referred to Walgreens. I went for my Covid booster today and when I tried asking for help, and let them know I was here for the vaccine, they treated me rudely. I wish they were organized and clear with me, so I wouldn't have had to ask for help or remind them I was still here. This was all before getting a shot, which is painful and stressful in itself. Medical providers have a responsibility to at least be clear, even if they are not trained in their bedside demeanor with patients. This is especially true as they hold your necessary medicine and treatment in their hands. The pharmacy staff here lacks both. I will be looking for a different pharmacy, even if it means traveling out of the way.
