Wait to check out at the pharmacy is consistently *very* lengthy, even when line is short. (About 1 customer checking out every 6-11 minutes)Been this way for several years.

Extremely slow, disorganized pharmacy. Takes 30 minutes for every 6 people in line. Workers need replaced by robots asap. Faster to mail your prescription than wait in line.

they sent me in circles trying to get my prescription. I'm now 5 days without my medication because they refused to listen to me and by the time they did, my medication was out of stock. shame on you, messing with people's health.

Worlds worst pharmacy!!! I have wasted hours of my life here and overpaid for prescriptions. They don’t seem to know how to use manufacturer copay assistance cards (?? that’s very common) and ask me to wait for 45+ min while they fumble around on the computer.. ending up unable to apply the coupon. This repeated itself 4-5 times before I just stopped asking and paid the full price.Today, I waited in line for 15 min only to be told the computer was broken and I needed to come back another time.STAY CLEAR IF YOU WANT TO GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER AT THE CORRECT PRICE

The pharmacy here is the worst. They continually put you on hold when you call and the do not provide you with an update if there's an issue with your prescription, they just cancel it. They also swap out name brand prescriptions with their Walgreens brand without permission. Additionally, don't plan on arriving when they open because they do not open on time.

I don't know why all the low ratings, but I pretty much had my best Walgreens experience ever here. To put this in context, my husband, older daughter, and I had appointments for our bivalent boosters at two different Walgreens locations in Marin on three different days and all waited over an hour. A fight almost broke out in the line while my husband waited. A trainee pharmacy tech tried to turn me away for my daughter's San Anselmo appointment because she didn't know to with the computer system and then gave me the stink eye and played with her phone while another employee helped me. Just ordeals all around. But when we came to the Irving Street Walgreens for our younger daughter's bivalent booster, which was not yet available anywhere in Marin (thanks for nothing, Marin Health and Human Services), we arrived a little early for an 11am weekend appointment and were finished by 11:04. There was no special vaccination room or area (unlike other locations), but the pharmacist was so quick I didn't even have time to distract my daughter. And this is how it's done, Marin Walgreens. For such a small location, the toy selection (dog and human) was pretty good. The tiny toy aisle was right next to the pharmacy window, so we were easily occupied during our short wait. My daughters picked out fun (and cheap) toys to get each other for Christmas. I found a dog toy that is now my dog's favorite toy ever. And we were able to park in the Walgreens parking lot. It was even free, unlike in San Rafael! Surprisingly, overall a more convenient experience than in the Marin suburbs.

Placed an online order and purchased a buy 2 get 1 free. Was text my order is ready and when you arrive hit the "I'm Here" at the Photo Lab counter and someone will help you. Waited over 15 minutes with no help. Asked one of the cashier ladies is someone here at the photo to help with online pick up. She was rude and replied "I'm closed" and walked away. So I ended up getting into the purchase line that was about 8-10 people deep and waited another 10 minutes to ask for my online pick up. I looked in the bag and my get 1 free was not there and my fault but I didnt get the free one because I ordered 2 and was suppose to order 3 to get the free one? Cashier said can't give it to me and I would have to cancel the whole order and start again!! So I said I've already waited over 25 minutes so just cancel the whole order. Two days later found out cashier did not cancel the order and in fact was charged for the pick up. Had to write in to Walgreen's Customer Service to try to fix the problem? I also had used a $5 reward which I am still not credited? Went to order online at another Walgreen, and after putting in the order for 3 to get my 1 free, the Walgreen's didn't have 3 so they automatically changed it to 2. I had to cancel again... why would I purchase a Buy 2 Get 1 Free but because they don't have 3 to sell, they are going to charge me for 2, and cannot give me a free because they don't have enough? So another cancel charge I have to deal with on my credit card! I've decided I'd rather pay a few cents more and get it somewhere else! You also can't walk into a Walgreen and get the sale price because it's ONLINE ONLY! Don't care for their online ordering for pick up and the cashier's at the Irving Walgreen are rude!
