The answering machine lady is more annoying than if Nikki minaj was laughing directly into my ear for an hour straight. Why does she have to tell me there is another caller ahead of me literally every 20 seconds. It’s been over 15 minutes since I’ve started this call to just see if my prescription is ready for pick up and i think this lady just might be my 13th reason why.

This was my pharmacy for years, but I’m giving up. Most shelves are empty and the few that have anything take 10 minutes to open each.
I honestly find it faster to get things delivered than to get anything in this store.
I know they had issues with theft - but they just need to re-think this if they want to remain open. Would be better if they just closed it off and you had the staff get everything for you - would be faster and feel like you were getting service.

Spent half an hour and asked the staff four times to locate my medicine but they are too busy to check their record. Then I ordered it online for pickup, they got it ready in 5 minutes.

Don't recommend this wallgreens pharmacy anymore.
Today I called the pharmacy when it opened at 9am, was on hold with 3 people ahead of me until 11:15am. When someone finally answered the lady said sorry the pharmacist is busy and tried putting us back on hold but hung up. 2+ hours on hold is ridiculous, they should provide a call back service.

Absolutely intolerable and unprofessional service from Mary, Mylin and Shirley. Complete disregard for patients and they are hostile and yell at you and hang up multiple times. This is coming from a doctors office. I’m appalled my this pharmacy. Don’t waste your time.

The pharmacy is so understaffed, I cannot recommend. Go anywhere else. They were telling half the customers they were out of stock of their meds AFTER they had waiting in line for at least 20 minutes. A couple of people got very upset because they were told twice to come back next day only to be told they again did not have the perscription ready !! I called two days ago and was told to puck up today after 12 am. You guessed it. Nothing was ready. They told me to wait 10-15 minutes. After 20 minutes I asked them please to look for my prescription. Luckily it was just sitting on the counter. No one was going to call me. This happens every time I go.

They do not value your time and do not follow their own schedule.
My meds were called in Tuesday night and tech says they can't fill it until Thursday. Thursday comes and I get a text that pharmacy unexpectedly closed. I get another text on Saturday that I must pick up my medication. I show up at 1:20pm before their posted lunch (1:30-2:00pm) and no one is at the window. Workers say they left for lunch early. There's no manager available to help you. Sign says they're supposed to be back at 2pm. It's 2pm and no one is at the window and there's a long line of people waiting.
Sometimes it's crime that forces a store to close. In this event, this is just poorly run store.

Very rude female pharmacist, didn’t get her name. My prescription was out of stock so I asked if she could help me look up another location that has it, she said she can’t do that and then hung up on me. Totally baffled at the behavior

This rating is for the Walgreens store in West Portal and has nothing to do with their service staff. I could not believe how empty the shelves were in the store. I went there specifically to buy makeup (eye shadow) and there was literally only one brand and color available. The other types of cosmetics were limited with many empty shelves. Other Walgreens are getting to be this way too. Unfortunately, I won't be stopping there in the future.

Every single time I'm in here there's drama at the the register. Many times one reg open and 10 people on the line. Or I buy something that is on sale and I have to end up going back to where the product is and take a photo of the sale price. They don't know what's in their store. This time I went to return a product I purchased the day before. OMG! They couldn't figure out how to refund my money. Between the cashier and a manger it took over 10 minutes and all I'm told, as my patience is wearing thin, is, "Sir. I'm trying to help you." Making me stand there while they have 0 idea of what they're doing (them and/or their computer) is not helping. As it was approaching 15 minutes I took back the product and said, "I'll go to a Walgreens that knows what they're doing." This place is a ridiculous joke. PS. Went to the Walgreens at 2145 Market St and got my refund in under two (2) minutes

My physician prescribed a w Tx to start immediately. Walgreens refused to fill it because "Insurance didn't authorize it for 90 days fill." Duh - it's a NEW Rx and this is a trial run. This was Friday afternoon so now I have to wait until at least Monday so they can hash this out. So much for starting an Rx immediately as instructed!!

This is my local Walgreens. The store is clean and organized, and they generally have what I need. There is one problematic employee who is overtly racist and classist and will yell/harass/refuse service/threaten customers she has prejudice against. I have to write this on behalf of the customers who I have seen treated unfairly. On the upside, the new pharmacists have good customer service. Sometimes during peak hours there is a long line at the pharmacy with only one employee. They have been combatting theft by locking up various essentials so you have to wait for an employee if you want toothpaste or deodorant.
