Mixed experience. Interest rates low 0.01-0.04% advertised, causes pandemic Federal Reserve actions and billions in recent years lost lawsuits are primary. Most phone, email, and in branch support very good for deposit accounts and extensive ATM network in most populated city and suburban areas. Though have most of my savings in an online bank elsewhere earning 15+ times interest, Wells Fargo Everyday Checking now only requires minimum $500 with couple other ways to waive monthly fee which opened recently. WFB good in IMO to keep a basic relationship when need services online banks cannot handle well such as cash deposits, cashiers checks, notary, rolls of coins, safe deposit boxes, and some loans where branch knows local market better. To end this a bit humorously, closed a savings account with Wells Fargo with one penny earned interest mid month, though I said could deposit it in newly opened checking account or write it off, they choose to postal mail me a check instead. Just a little waste bank could use toward interest rate improvement.

I just ended my 12-year old relationship with Wells Fargo. I opened an account with them 12-years ago at college orientation when I was a freshman in college. Since then I have rarely ever gotten good service for them. I have found their bankers and even branch managers to be incompetent, ill-informed and just plain rude. But the following was the final straw for me to end my relationship with this fraudulent institution. I have a 798 FICO and have NEVER EVER been late on any payments on my credit. I own a few credit cards from different banks, one of them with a hefty annual fee and credit limit upwards of $20,000. But when I saw that Wells Fargo was offering a large cashback bonus, I decided to apply for a simple Wells Fargo Credit Card. After getting a weird notification about having to call a number, I decided to do so. When I called the first time, the Customer Service rep asked whether I was a citizen of the U.S., which seemed like an invasion of privacy, but I entertained her anyway. When I informed that I am a LEGAL immigrant she said that my application would be denied because of that. Nevermind that I had a credit card with them many years ago, or that I had a car loan with them in the past. I did not care much at first, other than being a little perplexed since I have never been rejected for a credit card application. But after digesting the matter for a while, I decided to call back the customer care that afternoon to learn more about this policy. This time the customer service agent I got was extremely rude when I inquired whether it was bank policy to not offer a credit card to immigrants she cut me off, and said, I kid you not "you may have the right to work but you do not have the right to credit." Which of course is false. I froze and couldn't react, so I hung up on her. But I am filing a complaint with the State of California and have terminated my relationship with this bank that openly discriminates against immigrants.

Crooks, thieves and unethical bank. Look them up on Better Business they have ONE star rating for crime corruption and lost lawsuits. The VA used them for my home loan and it is one scam after another. Auto payments that they take out of my acct, they still try and sneak in Late charges. Everyone escrow account needs more money so they steal from my payment so it extends the loan so they can get more interest over time. The big lie and scam is you are forced to keep an escrow acct and the bank gets to use that money but they don't have to pay you interest. It is mandatory forced money they steal from you and use at their will. Then when your loan is paid off they keep that money. What a rip off company. I wish someone would start a Class Action suit against these crooks.File complaints with BBB and Attorney General, if enough people calls these crooks out, maybe someone will do something.

This was a huge Wells Fargo that closed down. All that unused space wasn't really necessary so their new space across the space is much more modern and efficient. The staff here was alright.

Wells Fargo Bank is one of the worst banks to bank with. They let the consumers take advantage of their customers, they hand visa credit cards/ATM card out and don't adhere to the regulations that VISA send them each year. I filed a disputed with Wells Fargo and they told that they have no recourse to help when I pointed out the regulations in the VISA regs. book 111.5.2 Use of Compelling EvidenceAn Acquirer may submit Compelling Evidence with a Dispute Response or pre-Arbitration attempt,as follows: Item # Allowable Compelling Evidence1 Applicable Dispute Condition10.4 (Other Fraud - Card-Absent Environment) 13.1 Merchandise/Services Not Received1 Evidence, such as photographs or emails, to provea link between the person receiving themerchandise or services and the Cardholder, or toprove that the Cardholder disputing the charge.X so don't you are screwed when a merchants does less then great service Wells Fargo don't want to do right by you. I think people should rethink banking with them.

Fancy bank in an old building but they wouldn't exchange my $20 that an ATM spewed out in a broken manner. I was told that ANY bank would reimburse this slightly damaged bill because both EB numbers are on both side of the bill... See photo. But the manager at this particular bank wouldn't agree to help fix my misfortunes. It was not my fault, it was an ATM at SFO airport. Thanks for no help, Wells Fargo. I had to walk across the street and suffer through a long wait line at the Bank of America but it's a good sign that more people choose to do business with BOA over the dead emptiness of WF. I've never liked WF - they had some sketchy issues where they screwed their customers over on mortgage loans - anyway, my experience here was very poor. BOA across the street fixed my problem for me without a problem although I did have to wait a lot longer in line.

Quick Summary:- Close to Montgomery Station- ATM machines on the outside and inside.I have been treated well by this Wells Fargo Bank for several visits, but what also makes me want to come here is the architecture. It is covered in intricate and complex designs from the floors, the massive ceiling, and on small areas such as the countertops and doors. It soon gives one a magnificent feeling when once you step in, as though you have been taken back into time. The staff at the countertop are helpful and were on top when assisting me with my requests. I also like how the staff who assists with the desk appointments, greets incoming visitors and ask them individually on what they want help with. The desk appointments and visits are also helpful, and I like how they also inform me with my savings with more detail and explanation. Every visit I make here, I leave with a satisfied and resolved demeanor.

I have been dealing with Wells Fargo my whole adult life since the 80s . I wanted to get a loan not much for my second home it's paid off . Wanted the loan To do some improvements. I had started this application in June and my representative Sherita kept calling me on Friday afternoon by the time I got off work it was too late to call her .I did call her back a couple times and she didn't get back to me .I called her boss to see what was going on .I even went into the bank to do the welcome call with her But no answer. So then sherita got in touch with me finally .she wanted all this information .I gave her everything that she needed .then I get a letter saying that I had close and open to many accounts. I don't owe Wells Fargo nothing . I payed off my Porsche car loan. Then payed off my card card I had with them. so that's really strange that they give me a limit of $18,000 on my credit card that I didn't use . It seems like they want me to use my credit card or the checks that they sent me to pay off an credit card so it's a higher rate but that doesn't even make any sense .I don't know if it was because I spoke up and said what was going on with my loan if that's why I got denied . but I will definitely let my family and friends know that Wells Fargo is not the place to go and I will be closing all my accounts that I have with them even my grandson's account that I have with them so I'm sad to say this but I am not happy with them. My credit score is very high . They are saying they're trying to make things right for everybody .So sad I will be taking my business somewhere else. Please share will post on other media sites.

I've been a Wells Fargo customer since 2011. I stuck by them when they committed all the fraud with the bank accounts. I'm trying to simply move a brokerage account over and get a mortgage. It has been the biggest nightmare I've ever faced in any financial transaction. There have been more documents than any other broker That I've ever dealt with in 30 years. I'm moving my accounts to chase. Chase has a much more aggressive operations department. They're also a lot more helpful.I'm tempted to short their stock. It is such a poorly run bank that it's amazing they're still in business. The government would've done a favor to me if they shut them down. The only thing I can say good about them is they have the most aggressive mortgage rates. But they don't give you the money, you have to extract it from them. Page by page. Good luck

Wells Fargo will not change a trustee on our account after jumping thru all their policy requirements with notarized Signatures, they still dragging with excuses after 10 days. No legal reasons, just dont want to let us change one trustee. TIME TO MOVE TO A NEW BANK

Tim J. Sloan, CEO of Wells Fargo: Your complete lack of vision and leadership has extended the downward spiral of WF, promulgated a culture of surly, unprofessional, uncivil and unhelpful employees. Your "customer service" telephone line provides the worst in the world, customer experience across all functions, applications and departments. Now after giving the VP who headed up your unlawful and corrupt sales team a $100 million dollar golden parachute, stealing the homes of over 600 people through incompetency and other vile acts, you are firing regional district sales directors and managers as if it was their fault you maintain a lawless, unethical executive team.Disgusted.

Remember just a short time ago Wells Fargo got into trouble for signing up customers for services they didn't order? Oh yea, they also released a video saying they won't do it again. My account last night was just added a quicken/quickbooks service without my permission. Sad thing is the state department won't ever punish anyone for this. What's a few hundred million dollars to a bank that has 10's of billions of dollars. When is a president going to have enough guts to just shut down one of these corporations for feeding on citizens in a such a ruthless manner? Hell I would be satisfied if one of these wretched CEO's would actually go to prison for their crimes. Any CEO that doesn't know what's going on in his company is a crappy CEO and I find it hard to believe they don't know what's going on. Maybe they should reevaluate how they spend their 100 hours a week working, and find time to figure out more crap. WELLS FARGO YOU FRICKEN SUCK! Unfortunately, I have to give you at least 1 star.

A complete nightmare. Because I'm just another deadline to you guys, my family and I are freaking out as we sit here with the clock ticking November 18th we were supposed to close but lone and behold we put our trust into the wrong people. I now get to look my little girls in the eyes and Tell them our house we currently live in sells on the 18th but wells Fargo failed to get an appraiser out to our new home so we will be homeless in 3 weeks. No one knows how they plan to fix this. How do you people look your self in the mirror.? How do you look at your family in the eyes knowing you are putting a family on the street. All you've done is tell me I'm overreacting we still have 3 weeks. Ya you've also had 2 months to get this done which what an epic fail on your part. I am disgusted with you guys. Thanks for throwing us out in the street like trash...I like how your new ceo says your guys are caring and look after your people. What a joke.

Wells Fargo has many problems, but this is specifically a review of their senior business specialist Roman Malecki. He is an untrustworthy, crooked liar with no morals or principles, and his employment at Wells Fargo only validates the fact that big banks operate on stealing people's money and taking advantage of them. If you're looking for a business loan, steer clear of this douchebag.
