Worst service EVER. Pharmacy puts you on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time. I've tried to have a very important prescription transferred for days now and when the new pharmacy calls they say they're too busy. They've called 4 times now, this is absurd.

legit the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. You can come here, not have a line, and still spend 20 minutes getting your prescription. Not the fault of the workers - Walgreens just horrifically understaffs this one. Maybe corporate should invest more in their stores rather than lying about SF crime rates as an excuse for lower revenues. Unfortunately it's the only pharmacy in walking distance!

For the past ten years this has been my neighborhood Walgreens. The staff is doing a fantastic job, all of them are good people. I like coming here.

This is truly the WORST store ever!!! Totally understaffed and the pharmacy has no manners! They pick up the phone and without giving the customer a chance to speak they just say HOLD and put the phone on an endless hold! If you are so busy GET HELP!!! Then I call back to speak to a manager. The girl hardly spoke English and said "Manager go home"! Lord have mercy! They interrupt you and don't let you speak! I asked if there was a manager that is filling in and she puts me back on hold! Then some jerk at the register answers with attitude and argues with me!! I was trying to explain to him what was going on and he did not care! Back on hold I go! You ALL should be fired and hire some professionals that understand customer service!!!!

Just waited over an hour to pick up one prescription. The pharmacy really needs an overhaul and shouldn't have people waiting an hour for a pick up. Also there no privacy when doing a picking up because people just crowded around the window.

The pharmacy is horrendously understaffed. Many times I have stopped by to pick up a prescription and have had to leave because I cannot wait in line for over 30 minutes. Long wait for scheduled vaccine appointments as well. The staff are quite nice and I feel sorry for them as this is clearly a management issue. I am very happy that they now have a much needed security person on site at all times.

Average wait time for picking up prescriptions or getting shots (*WITH an appointment) exceeds 40 minutes. Going here should be a last resort.

I'm new to neighborhood and was happy to transfer prescriptions to the nearby Walgreens. They seem seriously understaffed, and not once have I been able to pick up a routine Rx without killing at *least* half an hour (or a good deal more) of my day, between waiting on line and/or having a hassle over their mistakes. Nothing ever seems to be in stock (these are routine prescriptions I've filled monthly for YEARS without problems) and nothing is ready when expected. It's one thing or another, but something ALWAYS seems to go wrong. It's just too much stress & hassle every single time. I'll be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere.

Staff are amazing, kind and helpful. Especially during Covid when everyone was scared they welcomed everyone with a comforting smile and genuine care. Thanks to all of you for your kindness and support. Laleh Shahideh

When the Van Ness CVS closed, I had my doctor transfer my prescription to this walgreens as it's the closest to my current place. First, when I picked up my medicine, they gave me the wrong one. Not on accident, mind you, but they decided to give me a different brand than my doctor had ordered for me. I take the brand medication instead of off brand because I originally had a bad reaction to the off brand. When I said it wasn't the right medicine, the person continued to tell me it was, until I made her check the system where she finally confirmed they were giving me the wrong one. However, she still claimed I should take the wrong one until I said absolutely not. Second, I get a 90 day prescription and have for years. They gave me the 30 day saying that it's my insurance that won't cover it. Again, I've done this for years and that's just not true. Maybe my insurance won't cover it at walgreens, but they will elsewhere. Don't go here. Dishonest pharmacy staff who will lie repeatedly and give you medicine they believe you should have as opposed to what the doctor ordered. I also confirmed with my doctor that they did not call first to confirm if there were issues with switching, nor did they mention it to me at pick up. Dangerous practices when talking about medicine.

Horrible pharmacy with bo idea what they are doing. They consistently question my doctor which causes delays in my meds getting filled. And they are a nightmare to get on the phone. I have to walk down there to get anything fixed and then walk back down again after they take an hour or more to fix their mistakes. Horrible just horrible to deal with when you're not feeling well.

Wait time for pharmacy to pick up. They never did. Initially I imputed my prescription for pick up. The last I put did not confirm that it was being processed but directed me to a ring tone. I waited there for 12 minutes and then it sounded like someone picked up the phone and put it on the desk. I could hear them servicing other patients and then when pharmacy officially closed at 9pm one could hear staff talking. Extremely frustrating as I want to support neighborhood businesses and do not want to move to an online pharmacy, but...

A perfectly fine convenience store with a pharmacy that's staffed to service about 2 customers every hour.

I dread going to this Walgreens because it is often short staffed. For example, check out this line that you have to wait in even if you have an appointment. What is the point of having an appointment if you still have to wait for more than an hour?

Longest pharmacy line I've ever experienced. Continuously. I have to pick prescriptions up here monthly as it's the only nearby option, and I wait a minimum of 20 minutes each time. It's unacceptable.
