I was there to pick up my graduation picture. I bought my digital picture of ME from school (to have a high-resolution picture with no watermarks) and sent it to them for printing. They have my picture ready but didn't let me pick it up, said that it was a copyright photo and need a signature?!? I showed them the receipt of my purchase for that picture and told them I couldn't get the signature on the paper because the photo studio is online! They kept asking who selling the picture to me, and I kept telling them it was the school's photo studio and kept showing them the receipt, but they wouldn't listen. Also, dump policy! Copyright of what? It's a picture of ME. If it's the copyright of the photo studio (which didn't make much sense), I paid for their work already to have my picture! I technically own my picture. So, copyright of what? I would be less mad if they let me know beforehand! Very inflexible work!

Everything is locked behind plastic shelves and customer service is horrible. There's no way to check anything. You'll just need to buy, try and hope for the best.

The service in the pharmacy at Walgreens at 24th Street and Potrero has been very slow for a long time...clearly not enough staff. The staff are great after you have waited 30 or so minutes to get to the front of the line. It continues to go downhill. I just tried to get through to the pharmacy staff by phone to find out about a prescription I had ordered for refill over a week ago. Perhaps foolishly on my part, but I was on hold for 45 minutes and no one ever picked up! There was an incredibly annoying robo message that played every minute telling me they would "be with me shortly....there are more than 3 callers ahead of you." For 45 minutes!

Been going to the Walgreens on Ocean and Faxin for 20 years. While the store itself is fine and is easy to walk to from my house about 4 blocks away, the pharmacy is just awful. It has gotten worse and worse, with never enough people working and often loss of prescriptions or partial fills requiring you to go back and stand in a crazy-long line for a very time, only to find another problem when you get there. I have all texts set up and get a million robo calls reminding me of pickups. The same people have worked there for many years and they never remember me, or take the chance of actually greeting me with any sense of familiarity. They started a delivery service which seemed like a car on footprint nightmare since the store distance is walkable. They ship from somewhere else. I was told about another pharmacy app and they are here in SF and deliver even the same day. I hope I never have to stand in line at that store on Ocean again as long as I live.

If I could give it less stars, I would. Never go to the pharmacy here, especially if Joyce Chan is the only pharmacist working. My mom has been coming to this pharmacy forever despite me trying to get her to go somewhere safer. She knows the drill, wait a half hour at least for meds. Which is fine, but this time they straight up told her to come back the next day. No explanation, just told her to get lost. So I have an 80 year old senior come home in near tears and when I called the pharmacist is this surly excuse for a "professional". Read the rest of these posts. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Save your time and go to a different Walgreens location instead. No wonder this place is poorly rated because it's true. The employees here don't know what they are doing most of the time and are super lazy. This place has so many things locked up and it's very hard to get an employee to open it up for you. The employees at checkout won't tell you nor show you were the line is because it's not clearly marked in their store. They will just stare at you or use their phone.

Don't go here for the pharmacy. I don't know why but they seem to misplace drugs and it'll take forever to get your meds. They need to have two lines or hire someone that's faster at the computer cause no one wants to wait in line for 40+ mins. This isn't the DMV.

DO NOT SHOP HERE unless you want horrible and hostile service from the miserable staff with a high turnover rate. The service isn't just slow since it's been sullen and shady long before the pandemic. The cashiers at this store seem to harbor distinct and targeted hostility towards customers. Some of them might be "linked" or in collusion with nearby stores. Some of them are seemingly trying to earn some kind of bogus "bonus" offered by a local spoiled scumbat. It seems that they're trying to earn a "bonus" that doesn't exist. It seems that they're simply being used as pawns to do the dirty work. The spoiled scumbag has hid behind many part-time pawns and is obviously using their naivety. An independent investigation is in motion to expose the collusion between this particular store and nearby grocery stores. Sometimes customers simply want to shop without dealing with the appalling angst, arrogance, and antics from part time pawns. Some store employees provided capable service while many others seemed utterly bitter and brimming with negativity. This negativity borders on criminality.

Excellent customer service of the cashiers, the security guard is brave and save the customer's lives in dangerous condition. I have witnessed that someone steal the cosmetic products from the store, the security guard is trying to protect us and revenge in that situation.

Possibly the worst company in the world. They routinely lie to their customers and treat them with great disdain. Even if you jump through all the hoops and provide numerous duplicative layers of proof of identity, they still treat you like some kind of criminal simply for using their services. They force you to call their phone number to no-where line where you wait on hold for hours listening to a endless loop of ads trying to get you to use the service that they absolutely will NOT allow you to use. Most of the time, after forcing you to wait on hold for an hour or so, the call just disconnects. You never actually get to talk to anyone. My God, I hate this company so bad. How on earth are they still in business? They simply do not care about their customers. You are garbage to them. They will never and I mean NEVER treat you courteously or answer your questions. Everything is handled with great subterfuge. It's all a bait and switch and constantly the maddening adds inviting you to "Send Money with Western Union"... a thing which is virtually impossible to do. The worst of the worst.

The service is horrible. Lines out the door. Small food options in a food desert. Walgreens needs to work on this store, it hasn't been updated in years.

Western Union (WU)has some real problems in making money transfers safe and efficient. I had an emergency situation because my grandmother had passed away at 99 years young, and I needed to travel from California to Georgia to help with burial and funeral preparations. So since I had just paid my mortgage, I didn't have the kind of money needed for a flight with my family to Georgia. My aunt attempted to send me money, and even though it was over $2,000, that is no excuse for poor customer service in an emergency situation. The first problem was that most pickup places did not have that amount of money on hand. But this makes no sense if you're a business knowing that people can send all kinds of amounts of money to be picked up. So any business working with WU should be able to handle most reasonable amounts. The second problem I ran into was that after I first attempted to pick up the funds, my CA ID was not good enough. All of a sudden another requirement popped on the screen requesting my social security card? Normally, that would not have been a problem, but this time I had long ago misplaced my social security card. That's purely my fault, but before I went to pick up funds a second time, WU should have informed me that an additional ID requirement was needed. A Check into Cash personnel called a supervisor and opened up the way for me to use my passport in connection with my social security number and a picture of my social I had made just in case I misplaced the original. But of course, the passport had recently expired, so I could not use it. So the Check into Cash supervisor was good enough to allow the photo of my social security card to be used with my CA ID. But of course another problem arose because once again, a "hold" was put on the transfer after the first failed attempt to pick up the money. After the second try, I figured that it is a standard procedure with WU that if the first attempt to pick up he cash fails, an automatic "hold" is placed on the transfer. What does this mean? It means more insane and absolutely ridiculous delays in getting emergency funds because now the sender is required to call from the phone number that was put on the sending form (nowhere else!!), so that a WU representative can call the sender and "verify" that he or she sent the money to you. In this situation, the sender was sick and had to check out of the hospital to send the money, and then had to deal with all kinds of problems with WU making it too difficult to receive needed funds. Two representatives were supposed to call the sender, but when I called her I was told that no call came in. So I called WU again and spoke with "Ivan" about 5:41pm. He said he would call, but after an hour or more, still no call was made. I am totally disgusted with the complete and utter incompetence of the transfer of larger amounts via WU. What makes this so absurd is the fact that this cannot be the first time that WU has ever dealt with people trying to send larger amounts. So there can be no excuse for this level of incompetence and asinine customer service. The funeral is approaching and I'm still stuck in CA and it looks like I might miss my own grandmother's funeral. This is sickening and disgusting, and I am convinced to never ever again use Western Union for any other money transfers. I will do all I can to make sure Western Union never again causes this level of pain and problems for people in emergency situations. I will complain all over social media and make sure WU pays for my pain and emotional distress because people will stop using the service. So I do not recommend using WU for sending a dime or a dollar, and while I understand they need to guard against possible fraud, there is no excuse for putting people through too many hoops just to get needed funds. Go with another service like MoneyGram or something else. My grandmother passed away on December 4th. The first attempt to send money was on December 5t
