We stopped here for a bite while visiting Golden Gate park. The food was decent. If you need to use the restrooms you will need to scan a QR code and then put your phone up to a reader. I guess their theory is that the homeless people do not have smart phones.

I always come here for coffee and to relax with my buddies. In addition, I noted that a large number of individuals ordered the cake, which appeared to be great.

This is an upscale grocery store where you can buy groceries to take home. They also have prepared foods and a little place to eat. Prices are high.

sometime between Jan 02-Feb 10, went to Whole Foods on Stanyan and Haight. As I walked in, had this urge to use the rest room. Asked for the ticket, the cust service lady denied me a ticker asking I show proof of purchase. I showed her all my receipts from that week, my amazon prime credit card and even offered she keep my cc and I'd come back with the stuff I planned to purchase but needed to use the restroom first. She says no and calls the manager and says that I want to understand the rest room policy. No. I wanted to use the rest room. The taller male with a beard claiming to be the manager explains how I can not use the rest room. I explained how it's for customers and they can't dictate when a person needs to go. He mentions the homeless (I'm Not them) and reasoning that is ruining my entire customer experience. Finally I said I need to go and if you don't, I will not grab the things I planned to buy. He cd care less spiting me as others were holding the door and letting people in without a ticket. I walked out thinking I will not allow that sub-human with no discernment, no mgmt experience, no cust service experience. Now here we are April 02, an employee tested positive and was last In the store 3/15. They do not share with the co-workers allowing them to make their own decisions (resigning might be one), don't share with the shoppers allowing them to shop at their own risk. So for 2+ weeks, G knows how many people this store has infected. All the workers who worked with that employee who tested positive sh be sent home to self quarantine for 14 days (With pay) and only people who test negative sh be allowed to work here moving forward. if anyone tests positive again, they commit to letting staff and shoppers know asap and on-line purchasers that come out of this store. This is the least WFoods cd do is be forthright, honest and transparent in regards to Corona, our health and safety. I await some kind of commitment of the changes they're/you're going to make moving forward.

Shut it down. If the CEO of Whole Foods John Mackey is such a piece of s*** that employees must donate vacation time to sick employees, then he's just a fat f****** greedy piece of s*** that needs to be put out of a job.

Worst cashier experience here today. She scanned three separate items more than once by accident, including a jar of salsa she scanned FOUR TIMES. I didn't realize I had been overcharged by over $10 until I got home, and had to walk back to the store to get a refund. Then later I realized that my container of baby spinach had never made it into one of my bags. No clue how they managed that one. I hope this was the cashier's first day, because I've never had such a bizarre grocery shopping experience in my life.

Nice and friendly employees who are very knowledgeable about products! It is a small compact store with no public restroom. To use the restroom if it is in order you must make a purchase first! There is free unsecured WiFi and an area outside of the store to eat. Please clean up after yourself if dining outside!

They will not let you use the restroom before shopping and having a receipt here and the managers have no ability to use their own discretion. The lines always have 30 people in them so if you want to gamble at getting a UTI then this is the Whole Foods for you! The employees here do not care if customers are happy or not. They take breaks and talk on the side with 20 or 30 people in line and are just waiting for customers to walk out or be frustrated. Brian the store manager does not seem to care either so I give this place another year or two or three, if they really want to hold out, before it is shutdown like the McDonalds across the street. I told them I will not come back to this store to shop and they seemed to be extremely happy instead of willing to provide service and a code for the restroom that is for customers, literally meaning people who shop, and not necessarily people who have paid for something. Does not seem like this store is even being given the ability to make money with the customer service quality... There is a Target and Trader Joes a 6 minute drive/Uber away who do not torture people to get them to buy groceries or hassle you for having to use the restroom. These stores also have bigger parking lots. Support them and hope this Whole Foods shuts down... If you are feeling really frustrated and need to pee then do it right on the sidewalk there as public urination is somewhat legal now in SF and you will not be prosecuted as of the date of this review.

Seems to have a staffing problem, as there are always 15 minute lines stretching through the store -- avoid if you don't have copious free time to stand around.

Cramped, poorly stocked, and woefully understaffed. Everything about this store says "Bad management' -- especially the long slow-moving lines (because only 8 of the 15 cashier stations are ever staffed at any given time) that jam up the aisles and block anyone from being able to access the refrigerator cases and powerbar displays that are unfortunately placed right where the clogged lines are. Of all the WFs I've been in across nearly a dozen states, this is hands-down the worst store of them all. And now I find out that this same crummy store is the one that fulfills my online order - no wonder, out of 16 items I ordered, 5 are unavailable.
