Hands down best wine store in the city, both for picking up a bottle or having a glass at their bar

Good selection of wine , however was kicked out 30min before closing which would have been fine if the employee was not so rude about it. Just trying to buy wine not waste anyone’s time.

Michael is an excellent bartender , playing the entirety of folk rock and blues albums he chooses with panache. Wednesday is their wine tasting day which attracts the largest crowd; the owner Steven is in charge and is immensely knowledgeable; the prices of wine are reasonable. But it feels like a wine bar composed of cliques, some of whom resemble cults, co-opting un-suspecting newbies into their fold; this reminds me of the film “Rosemary’s Baby”; not sure I want to be adopted by a cult but I still visit the bar for a drink or two every now and then.

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable customer service. A fantastic selection of wine and high quality wine at affordable prices. I want to come back to enjoy a wine tasting and to relax at the patio on a nice day. I would highly recommend stopping by.

Great experience here on a Sunday afternoon last week. My brother and I came in after having a beer next door at Wood Brewing. We wanted to grab a wine for home and check out their patio area. Unfortunately, I didn't do any tastings or have a drink on the awesome lowkey back patio area but plan to eventually. Peter was working the shop and this is why i give the place 5 stars. First of all the wine selection and quality is great and the price is very reasonable lots of wine under $30! Peter though, was so friendly, laidback and very knowledgeable. Shout out to him honestly. Wine stores can be a bit snobby but this was the opposite. He made us feel like regulars. He recommended awesome wines and next time I visit my brother I'm definitely stopping by to grab a drink for the patio and buy a bottle to take home.

They have a fantastic selection of wine and beer. Peter was very helpful and knowledgeable in the wines, helped pick out a great wine to sip out on their patio. I also found a wine that I have been looking all around for. That's how I knew this was the spot.

A pleasant wine shop that has a fun tasting bar and outdoor seating. The Wednesday evening tastings are always exciting and run by Stephen, whose industry knowledge and experience enhance the journey down the list.

Awesome shop. Great selection with hard to beat prices for an independent shop. Really cool tasting bar in the back with interesting wines rotating by the glass or flight. Plus a patio in the back.

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I was visiting SF and looking to buy some alcohol for my friends. I thought they had liquor, but they didn't which is totally fine. But the guy at the counter told me to get the f@@k out for no reason in front of everyone. Lol honestly the non existent customer service is a joke.

The wine selection is great, but if your looking for a friendly and helpful experience, then you're s*** out of luck. Each time I have been in I have found what I was looking for but without any sort of acknowledgment upon arrival or a smile with the money I've spent. What has finally prompted me to write a review was the phone call I had with an employee over the phone 5 minutes prior to writing. He had picked up sounding incredibly annoyed, "William Cross. Can I help you? Sorry can't hear you" Called back again with the same person picking up the phone, sounding even more irritated with the same opening sentence asking that I make it quick. As I am trying to see if they have a specific wine in stock, he abruptly cuts me off and says, "No we don't!" and hangs up while I am in the middle of speaking. What kind of business does that? Again, the rudest f****ing bunch of staff I have come across.
