Got a chai latte and two lemon poppy seeds muffins today before work. The Chai was so sweet, the staff didn’t ask or inform chai latte will be sweet. The flavor seemed okay but serving such sweet beverages without informing is absurd. I prefer places with don’t add sugar or sweeteners and allow us to add ourselves. At least one should inform. The lemon poppy seeds muffins are yum

I've been missing my morning bagel really badly after moving here from New York. For a comparable price, the bagel I was served was just as warm, chewy and wholesome. Quick service and delicious cappuccino as well. I'm convinced to become a regular.

Great little lunch spot. Sandwiches are on the expensive side. I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. It was really good. The guy helping me was super nice. He remembers every person and the thing they ordered. There was quite a long line of people ordering so that's impressive.

Working Girls' Cafe (boys welcome!) apparently has a reputation for good black coffee. No kidding! I was about to begin a course at 3pm and thought coffee would be good to pick me up. I walked in 5 minutes before they closed at 3pm which I realized after ordering. The owner, I believe, a lovely gentleman still took my order and pressed me a cup! I appreciated the service and tipped generously. So glad I tipped well - the tasse de café was delicious. I'll plan to return for lunch to this charming hole in the wall that brings back European memories.

This has become my go to lunch takeaway spot when I'm in the 2nd/Montgomery area. I'm working my way through the salads as they are generous.

One of my favorite lunch places when I'm at work!! The staff are incredibly nice and the food is so filling and delicious!I have tried a lot of different things but the standouts are the mandarin chicken salad and the California melt with cheddar cheese. It's in a super convenient location and is walking distance from most of the big offices.Only downside is the wait can get sooooo long so you have to order ahead of time!

Great sandwiches.Great coffee.Great service.Nothing fancy, this is a weekday cafe where you get in, grab your stuff and get out. However I must say the bagel sandwich that I ordered and received within 3 minutes was quite good.

Place is humble and simple. Fresh coffee every time keeps me coming back. They know how to make a Cap too.Price is better than almost anywhere in 2 sq/blk. If I'm working anywhere near Yerba Buena this is my go-to.

Recommendation: Eat hereReview type: Take-outReturning customer: YesI went here for the first time. I ordered the Lemon Garlic Chicken Breast Sandwich. It was great. If you're a person looking for a good proportion of meat in your sandwich that will get you full, then I highly recommend that you try it here. The cashier guy was friendly, too.My only con is that they only wrap the sandwich, but didn't put the wrapped sandwich into a brown paper bag for you to carry. And I already gave a tip before I got my food at the cashier! Luckily, I had my own bag, so I recommend you bring your own bag. The only reason I can think of that they won't give give you a brown paper bag (as opposed to a plastic bag that will be an additional cost to the consumer because of SF laws), is the store doesn't want to spend that money; they're being cheap. I've never been to a sandwich place and never get a paper bag with it. Kind of strange. With all of these reasons, that is why I give a 4 of 5 stars.
