X?X Ceramics is a pottery studio located in a cute old Victorian house in San Francisco's vibrant Mission District. The studio offers classes and sessions, including an introductory class, and is equipped with modern equipment. The space has a fun history connected to a mystery club. Instruction is described as great, with a brief history and demonstration provided. The teacher is friendly, helpful, patient, extremely accommodating, attentive, organized, and professional. Everything needed is provided. The studio is suitable for beginners and groups, and is noted as a good activity for anniversaries or visits. The experience is highly recommended for both visitors and locals, resulting in a good time and learned skills.
Love this studio / community! I joined after taking a throwing class in August '25. The team here makes it really easy (and safe) to practice, perfect, and create. Love the long hours (8am-10 pm daily), rapid pace of firing work, and how every member contributes to creating a clean & warm environment. Highly recommend.

Attending Redwood Clay House has been amazing. The people who work and attend this studio are beyond helpful and nice. The space is very clean and provides great vibes all year around.
