Dear Zara Customer Service,
On August 5, 2025, at 7:45 PM, I visited your Stonestown Galleria store in San Francisco, arriving 15 minutes before the 8:00 PM closing time. A security guard and a male employee from the men’s department blocked my path, preventing entry, and rudely stated the store was closed and “nothing is for sale.” Despite my polite request to make a quick purchase, they dismissed me with complete disrespect.
This unprofessional behavior is unacceptable and tarnishes Zara’s reputation. I strongly advise others to avoid this location due to its deplorable service. I rate this experience 1/5 and urge Zara to address this matter promptly.

Terrible checked out from the same guy 2 times in a row. But a different day. If you don't want to work just stay at home. I never treat my customers like that. I was standing there waiting for the receipt and he was just busy talking to his coworkers. And the second time I exchanged, I was waiting to pay and he was just busy talking with his coworkers again. Until I have to ask him what I have to do next? 👎

Just a heads-up—I wouldn’t recommend buying from this store. The quality has gone downhill lately, and some of the items they’re selling aren’t very clean. On top of that, their customer service isn’t what it used to be, and they don’t offer refunds. I’d suggest shopping elsewhere to save yourself the hassle

I love Zara clothes very much. I frequently come here to buy clothes for myself and friends. But tonight I had a bad and a sad experience with one of the staff here. I found a jacket that I really liked. They have only size M, L and XXL so I tried size M & L on but they were too small then I tried XXL on . , it was a little bit too big. So I looked up on the website, they have all the sizes including XL that will fit me perfectly. So I decide to buy it on the website instead. I walked back the pot where I took the jacket from I saw her (the staff) then I politely asked for the hanger so I could hang it back up where it belongs myself. But she looked at me with an unsatisfied face , no smiling and only said NO NO (she had one with her I saw) but the only answer was just No then she took it back for me and madly hung it back up herself. I was very upset because what I have done was right. I didn’t just put clothes around and leave them behind. I was always treated with service mind here but not tonight I guess. I won’t go back to buy anymore clothes again.

I bought a beautiful winter coat for $ 140.00 for my trip to Europe and unfortunately the buttons fell off a few days after wearing it. Tried to have my buttons fixed at Zara in Paris and was told I would have to pay for it and leave my coat there… Need to travel with my sewing kit next time…

Racist staff. I was followed through the store by security and staff seemed to be friendly with everyone but me, the only Black person in the store at the time.
I learned later Zara as a brand has had a reputation of mistreating Black models causing them to boycott. The clothes are also Shien/F21 quality at a marked up price.

A hole was left in the garment by the security tag that I only noticed when I got home. I took it back and was suggested to exchange it. I pointed out they’d probably be all the same but was reassured the tags were usually in a different place where the hole is not visible. So I went to find the same garments but all the security tags were in t
he same place and I didn’t want to risk it. I got a refund but nothing was mentioned by the staff about recalling the garments. They seemed quite happy to allow their whole stock to be sold with holes in them. And they wonder why brick and mortar shops are struggling!

During my Friday noon visit to Zara, the store was well-organized, and the staff were friendly, especially in the fitting rooms. Despite the slow cashier service and crowded sale season, the associates kept the items organized, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience overall. The store's selection of trendy clothing was also impressive, offering a variety of styles to choose from.

That was the worst experience ever. We ordered at the store with the store delivery. They sent it to a wrong store and it was close to impossible to get the credit back. No care no respect, no help just total disrespect.
