About Mission San Gabriel Arcángel
Mission San Gabriel Arcángel is open for self-guided campus tours. The premises are clean and open to tour. It is a small but gorgeous and amazing historical place. Visitors can see how the natives lived, with displays showing they made their own soap and grew their own food. The site includes a church with beautiful art, a garden, a graveyard, and a place for cremations. It is a delight to visit and is highly recommended, especially for a fourth-grade mission report or a class field trip. The staff is friendly. Visitors can spend about two hours walking, learning interesting stuff, and taking photos. There is also a souvenir shop on site. Admission is required for the campus tour.
