“My dog, unfortunately, has to be on three medications for his heart condition. Ben was able to order one of the medications for me quickly, which was very important to me as I did not want him to miss any doses. They also offer delivery! Will be returning for my future pharmacy needs!”

“After my exodus from CVS in San Gabriel and Las Tunas location {you may read my review about them in yelp} I found this Lucky Pharmacy in San Gabriel on Las Tunas. I walked in, they checked my insurance, got my prescription ready, and i was out in seven minutes. It is a rare occurance these days to see people doing right with delight and pride in their duty. Peaceful and kind workers with smiles on their faces welcoming a new comer. I am rating them AAA.”

Outside of the easy parking and easy access to the building, the staff speaks Cantonese, English, Mandarin, and Vietnamese. A quadruple whammy! Wow! Get your prescriptions and over-the-counter needs here!”

“Well, this morning, my alarm went off about 6:30am, and I lumbered into my closet and retrieved my waffled bathrobe and slippers, and navigated myself towards the bathroom. I reached into the shower and turned the lever on for the body sprays as well as my hand shower and then I disrobed and reached for the rain shower lever, I stepped inside and scrub scrub and rinse rinse and then grabbed the shampoo and squeezed a dollop into my palm and began to lather my scalp and then rinsed. I grabbed my waffle towel and began to dry myself, and then I grabbed my waffle robe and stepped out of the shower and into my waffle slippers. I navigated my way back to the bedroom and into my closet and began to retrieve something lightweight for today's heat. I selected my favorite striped tee in cobalt and ink stripe, short sleeve. I thumbed my rack and selected a vintage pair of cotton & linen pull on draw string trousers and choose to pair these with a pair of Sperrys with no socks. Because I'm often cold for no good reason, I grabbed my favorite ORVIS cashmere & cotton & silk pullover w/ elbow patches. I received a message from Uber that my driver was moments away, and so I dart out to meet my driver. I'm here at LUCKY PHARMACY picking up my prescription, and I'm spent already! GRRR CANCER! OMG, aren't mornings supposed to be exclusively cooler? I'm literally moist! Lol eww... I'm waiting for my return trip home outside on a bench just outside from the sliding glass doors. I'm just awaiting for my Uber to arrive so I can get back to my freezing dwelling and decompress... lol, I think I might have just seen a bird burst into flames! Lol, or mayhaps I'm just needing to have breakfast. It was great seeing everyone again! Thanks for my prescription, everyone!”

“I wanted to give credit to the pharmacy staff at this particular location. The pharmacy technician Chau, she went out of her way to assist us. I made Covid Vax appts for 4 of us in our HH but had no idea that it could be so complicated. Apparently there are "unionized" CVS and "non-unionized" CVS which makes a big difference on insurance coverage. We normally have our routine prescriptions filled and our yearly flu shots done at CVS. Thinking all CVS are the same I made our Covid Vax appts online at the location next to Trader Joe's in N. San Gabriel, then having them tell us since that location is "non-unionized" our insurance will not be covered. BTW, we have Optum RX. So we went straight away to this location. The Pharmacy technician Chau helped us with new appts for the very next day and explained how COVID vax can only be given out with appts not walk-ins. We came back the very next day for our appts and Chau was working again and assisted us once more. She walked us through the entire pharmaceutical red tape even being so busy with everyone waiting on vaccinations. Chau is just amazing. The other technicians are also wonderful and helpful. Bottom line, the entire team especially Chau went out of their way to assist us. This is rare and refreshing to see this kind of effort and commitment, the outstanding customer service that i have received here. I have to write about and let the public know. Thank you pharmacy team. I look forward in coming back to this location for my future pharmaceutical needs.”

“COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. The staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are also sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my medications from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is okay. The downside about this parking lot is that you have to pay for parking. Boooo! But if you buy something worth $8 or more, the pharmacist will validate your parking. Staff: The staff here are very welcoming, nice, and courteous. However, they are just slow. Like it took them over 45 min to give me one medication. Oh well. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.”

“Thanks to Big 1 Pharmacy, I was able to get my medication and fast! I struggled for about a month trying to get my medication approved through RiteAid and then I tried CVS. Neither of them helped me at all!! I had previously used CVS for all my medications for about the past 15+ years and had only recently switched to RiteAid this year, but after this incident I'm switching all my prescriptions to Big 1 pharmacy! My doctor recommended that I use their pharmacy and sure enough, I went straight over there, and I'm not kidding you, about 25-30min later, my medication was ready!!! I couldn't believe they handled it so effortlessly and quickly! THANK YOU to all the Big 1 staff, especially the 2 ladies at the front windows! I'm grateful :)”

“I have been a customer here for the past four years since I moved to this area for my new job. I have to tell you I have never had any problem whatsoever with anyone here. As with most pharmacies, they work very hard and they never seemed to have enough people to work but they have always been patient, and polite and could not be more professional with me. The pharmacy technician Alex and Danny have always been good and the pharmacist I believe his name is Jonathan, was beyond helpful. I don't understand the negative reviews here. Put yourself in their shoes and realize what they go through and you may appreciate what they have to do. Their job is not to be rushed because mistake can happen and I rather they take their time to get everything done right. Best wishes to all the workers here – please know that many of us appreciate you so much and some will take the time to put in writing.”

“Great service at this pharmacy. I've been getting my grandma's meds from Alpha for two years now and the staffs are always friendly and helpful. They can speak English and Chinese so it's pretty convenient for my grandma to communicate with them as well. I'd definitely recommend calling in for refills which could eliminate some waiting time. Picking up the meds was literally in and out within a few minutes. Highly recommend this pharmacy!”

“Shoutout to the staff that was very kind and helpful to an older lady who thought she had left her phone at the FedEx counter. Unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name but he was very patient with her and even looked at the camera footage to see if she left it. He was truly concerned and thankfully she found her phone! I was truly impressed as kindness isn't something you see often nowadays.”

“I have been using Walgreens photo for 1 hour items and have had no problems at this location for the past 6 years. I've ordered Christmas Photo cards, poster enlargements, and even custom wooden photo. All of the print out I have sent to Walgreens.com come out beautiful. They also have a status of your order online so you know when it is ready to be picked up and you also receive email notification. I also like the fact that now all the 1 hr photo items are at front register. Thanks!”

“i was actually very surprised to find all the bad reviews for this pharmacy- this is one of my favorite pharmacies in the 626 area. my grandparents have been getting their medicine here for years, and all of the times i've come to the pharmacy with them, the pharmacist and technicians are very helpful in explaining the uses of the medications and resolving any insurance issues. almost all of the over the counter medications are priced cheaper than places like cvs, target, and other local pharmacies. i will always come here for my meds!!”

“I've visited this Walgreens a few times, and my experiences have been pretty straightforward. The staff is friendly, which makes things easy. It's conveniently located, and I always find the parking lot to be open when I'm there. My visits usually involve dropping off or picking up packages, and that process is typically pleasant and quick. I also got my Covid booster shot at their pharmacy once, and everything went smoothly without any issues.Today, I stopped by to get a propane tank. It turns out I couldn't bring it inside, and the staff informed me to leave it outside while I paid for it indoors. The whole thing took about 3 minutes. The place looks tidy and organized, and I'm a bit surprised it's not busier. One night, I noticed a taco vendor on the corner of the street. The food was on the pricier side (but I think there is a street taco inflation at the moment ), and while it was okay, it wasn't anything to write home about.”
