“Love this place. My folks are monolingual and I help manage their care. The staff who answers the call is great with providing information re approval of medications etc. They will also call the dr if the medication needs to be changed etc. I dont have to follow up with them multiple times to make sure everything is done correctly. They also deliver the medications to us. Often times, I will be at the doctor's office with my folks and the pharmacy will call us to see how soon we need the medication. The delivery folks are great. Super friendly. One time, we stepped out to run a quick errand and they waited 5-10 mins for us to turn around to sign for the medications.”

“Big pharmacy companies have always been a pain to deal with. Long lines and unhelpful workers have been a staple with CVS and Walgreens and such. Well Brown & Welin was such a breath of fresh air when I was having trouble getting ahold of my prescription. Joe went above and beyond to help me fill my prescription and took the time to explain to me all the issues and what to do. No long waits, the employees know your name and greet you with a smile. “I will never to go to a CVS or chain store again for vaccinations or medications. The personal attention, care, professionalism of Anesha at ABM Pharmacy was wonderful (you never find that at the chain stores). I had an appointment for the COVID vaccine at CVS and they cancelled me at the last moment since they didn't have the vaccine. So, I searched and found ABM which did have the latest COVID vaccinne formulations (Moderna etc). No line, friendly helpful pharmacist who answered all my questions. She is also extremely knowledgable about the vaccines as she listens into a weekly call on the vaccines so she was able to answer questions I had that the other pharmacists at CVS and Costco didn't answer (these big chains are not interested in you as person you are just something to process as quickly as possible with minimal human interaction). Lovely neighborhood pharmacy. I would encourage EVERYONE who has received rude treatment at the big chains and has had it with the impersonal (sometimes even rude) treatment by a pharmacist to visit this lovely pharmacy (lovely modern clean interior). “Bought a casino game here for $55 for a Christmas present for my son. When he opened it Christmas morning, the roulette wheel was broken. I just returned it today to be told they can't swap or refund because the box was opened????? WTF??? How are we supposed to know it's broken until we open it. Would not recommend buying anything from here. A very rude and uncooperative manager. Maybe they should sell X ray glasses so we can see into the box before opening it. Unbelievable Update . The owner of the store was great and helpful and immediately exchanged the item without a problem. A shame we had to go through so many hoops. but thankfully it got resolved. No apology from the manager just a surly attitude. The store is good and has some great products ( when they aren't broken). The owner may want a word with the manager on how to interact with customers in future.”

“So I was having the same issue contacting this pharmacy over the phone ... I also spent over an hour trying to contact them and so did my insurance . I decided to drive down to baldwin park to their location and was guided and helped out by the nicest people . I mentioned the phone thing to them and found out they had no idea , called the number and it just wasn't going through on their end so turned out it was some technical phone issue that hadn't been brought up to their attention as most people thought they were being ignored and there was no other way than to drive there to communicate this to them. By now I would hope their lines are functional again. Anyways, the awesome experience I had when I visited that day was great and they were able to hand be my meds that same day . all was done within 30-35 minutes . They were just so genuinely eager to help that I wasnt upset about the phone issue anymore . So yeah, if ur reading bad reviews talking about not being able to get a hold of anyone just know it wasn't because of bad customer service - They have EXCELLENT. Customer service - the problem was a phone line issue ...”

During the end of 2020 we switched to Mitry pharmacy where I now have both. Sharif is a wonderful family man who runs a spectacular and personal business. Going here removes the Big Pharma feel and takes me back to when I was a kid when we used to go to a family owned pharmacy in the middle of town.
