I’m trying to save for a road trip with my family and have been unfortunate to all of the sudden need car repairs as well as a dental procedure due within weeks of my trip I’ve been trying to save for that I will now have little to bring on the trip since these pressing circumstances are very costly. “Great customer service there's a guy that worked here on August 8th 2025 2:PM he served me, when it was my turn in line he gave me GREAT CUSTOMER service, he deserves a promotion, & I also noticed while I was waiting in line he was actually teaching other customers a out how the shipping thing works since they seemed alil confused about media mail. But besides him being a Great Worker, every time I come here to ship my packages all the employee that work here are soo respectful caring and Amazing, i uselally like testing out other USPS around the area but cause of his Thier experience I'm stating loyal to this USPS even if I have to travel further just to get here. The owner is really sweet and she helped me so so so much with a very time sensitive issue that I had and was very pleasant to work with. “This post office has been a surprising source of calm for me since early this year. Some days I stop by just to drop off mail or packages, and other days I simply pass through, but every time, it’s consistent: clean, quiet, and efficient.
The attendant in the mornings always greets me with a smile, and I genuinely get the sense he remembers me (or maybe it’s my little dog Mimi he recognizes). Either way, the friendliness makes a difference. He even shared that Mondays are their busiest days, which explains why my morning visits always feel so easy and unrushed.
The building itself is beautiful, full of Old Pasadena charm. The high ceilings, intricate windows, and natural light make it one of those rare post offices where you don’t mind waiting. Even the mailboxes have a vintage look that adds to the character.
There’s also a window for prepaid USPS packages, which makes drop-offs simple and quick. I’ve never had a hassle here, and I always leave impressed with how fast the experience is.
If you appreciate efficiency and historic beauty, this is hands down one of the best post offices around.”
“I have been to 4 post office locations in the city of Pasadena CA. This one by far has the most friendliest and helpful staff out of all the locations I have been to! Seriously, I have received attitude and even hostility at 2 of the 3 other post office locations that I have done business at. If you need to do any business with the USPS in the city of Pasadena CA, this is the location you want to go to!”
“The standard experience of a USPS Post Office visit ranges from tolerable to downright awful (my worst experiences being in NYC), but I have never had a better experience than the Lincoln location. There’s something about the culture of this office that the staff are courteous, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, truly give a damn and go out of their way to help. There was an older gentleman (who retired in December) who was wonderful and his replacement is just as good. If only all USPS offices were this good. Thank you guys, you give us hope!”
“I've always lived in this city and I go here most of the time. Bryan and Tracy usually help me. They are always cheery, helpful and very knowledgeable about how to send mail/packages. Last Saturday had a 5 minute wait. Not bad for a weekend. Excellent customer service.”

“My mom had put a stamp which was worth twice the rate of a regular stamp and was sad when he made me pay for another stamp..I thought is was a regular stamp but it wasn't so I didn't notice and he should have! I paid him more money to send my mom's mail and he should have looked at the stamps value and not charged me. He also asked me to return a letter that was put in my mailbox addressed to a different address completely and a different name to my Post Office..I told him the mail man had delivered twice to my house! I said send it to the correct house I don't want to drive to another PO. He finally agreed to take it. Why should it be my problem. I had put it in the outgoing mail after getting it in my mailbox with the flag up and my stupid mailman just didn't even look at it and put on my mailbox again!!! Didn't even look to see the address was a different street, number, and name!!! So why ask me to any more than leave it at ANY post office? So d**** Not my problem. It was someone else's gas company bill. Sheesh!!!”
“Postal Services in Sierra Madre, Los Angeles, California...We had just finished breakfast nearby when I asked my friend, Hannah, if there was a post office nearby. She pointed and said that there was one right around the corner! Yay!Sierra Madre's post office is cozy, calm, and mellow. I felt like I was in a safe, small, quaint country town. I parked in the back of the building and walked in the building from the side door.Other people parked in the front, on the street, and walked in the front door.It wasn't crowded, so, I walked right up to the letter slot, tossed my postcard in, and left.Easy as pie!”
“Everyone here has been friendly and superbly helpful(and I have worked with everyone that's been here over the past decade).
Many of the bad reviews are for general frustrations with post office speed and delivery in general.
Solutions?
1. Remove people with conflicts of interest (ie DeJoy and Wos who may claim up to a total $75,815,000 in assets from U.S. Postal Service competitors, according to government records) from positions of power and/or force them do divest from companies that benefit from USPS's shortcomings.
2. Invest in your infrastructure and workers. Make sure there are enough mail carriers; ensure they are paid fair wages that raise with inflation; and prevent deteriorating labor standards which will inevitably get in the way of effective and efficient mail delivery. (The former removes many disincentives for this.)”
“Me gusta esta pequeño pero ,muy amables muy eficientes las chicas, yo boy en la tarde cuando salgo de mi trabajo nunca hay gente muy rápido el servicio y con buena atención sobretodo uno de los pocos correos que tienen muy buena manera de tratar a los clientes por que la mayoría de correos tienen un personal muy pésimo hablado de carácter.”
“I've never had a bad experience at this office. The staff is super friendly! I work weekdays so I've only ever been in on the weekends. The line is always pretty long, but they get through it at a pretty quick pace!”

“I am a huge advocate for the USPS, especially now since younger people don't understand the difference between the USPS and UPS. The people who work here are nice and know me as a regular. And they usually have the newest books of stamps on offer so I always get mine there.”

The city of South Pasadena finished their last phase in landscaping the remaining grassy area in the south side by the public parking lot.
Fun Fact:
They built a 100% California native, drought tolerant demonstration garden. Selected plants that are naturally suited to the hot and sunny weather while also supporting pollination and providing food and shelter for wildlife.
Plantings will have color at different times of year, and include Cleveland Sage, St. Catherine’s Lace Buckwheat, Toyon, a ‘Desert Museum’ Palo Verde tree, among other plants.”
“This post office is pretty much dead, which is good given with how much certified & registered mailpieces I have to send.Just like my home post office back in Arcadia, the staff exceeded my expectations, especially with how they helped me when I had to mail internationally for the first time!”
“went there two times at 12:45ish. the first time was no problem, the second time the employee was on an hour long lunch break so I had to go to another post office. not sure if this happens frequently but you may need to call to see if anyone is there during lunch time.”
“I go to this location in Pasadena only because I like seeing Junior and I trust him with my transactions. Trust is the most important aspect for a customer and he has earned my trust as a representative of the USPS. Trust can be of short supply these days and he continues to earn it. All these years I've never lost a package and I ship a lot. Also, he knows other customers by name and everyone in line is happy to see him! Not all customers are right in the head though. I've seen self entitled customers become completely belligerent because they didn't get what they demanded even though it wasn't even sensible. I've seen him help direct these crazy customers nicely even when they are being completely disrespectful to him. Junior is awesome and he deserves a raise! I will be a loyal customer with the USPS because of him.”

“It's hard to find a good post office in LA but this one for sure will be my goto! Security is so tight at the door which may upset people but if you can look past that then this is one of the cleanest, quickest post offices I have been to in the city. It's located in the federal building making it nice location and I appreciated the service I got”
