“Great experience! Amazing consultation, exam and treatment- my cat was in dire straits and we had very little hope- but thanks to the staff and Dr. Jimenez, he not only recuperated but is still doing great, considering he is 14.5 years old and may have cancer?I also took my other cat who is just as old and he too was in critical condition, but again thanks to the amazing team and Dr. Jimenez he is doing wonderfully- I am extremely grateful and happy with this vet hospital and all the people who made my baby critters feel safe, and who cared for them as their own!”

“You won't find better service and proper care anywhere else. My cat has been a patient for a little over 2 years. After experiences I've had at other clinics, I only have enthusiastic praise for this place. Friendliest and most attentive staff ever. I've never experienced wait times and my cat is always well cared for and sent home with the proper treatment. They don't push expensive meds and are flexible with treatment options. I don't trust my pets with anyone else.”
“The staff is so kind and helpful! The front desk is really nice and the vet team is as well. Appreciate they help you figure out next steps for your pet without you feeling forced to go all out and test for everything if you cant afford it. They find a good balance to help your pet one step at a time. Also the wait is always fairly short and reasonable which i really appreciate as well. And they seem to genuinely care and want to help! I had been going to a different vet for years prior until i moved, and i'm shocked at how much nicer and efficient and helpful this vet clinic and staff is. They have helped my dog and cat so much and i'm so thankful!!!”

“Beautiful souls attend this facility. Every single one of the vet techs and vets have shown compassion and empathy for my Pomeranian babies. They're prices are reasonable and they accommodate to my hectic schedule. They treated my baby like if they were theirs. I will continue to bring my babies here. Rest assure that they also need rest and will be closed for the holidays season. However, they provide alternative emergency facilities while they are closed.”
“Friendly, privately owned, courteous & attentive staff. Compassionate vet staff. Kind to people & pets, not brusk or overly focused on doing their own task/workday stuff rather than beingbwith you and/or pet. Will work with you financially to help your pet. Decent parking, keeps appt times, allows walk-ins, will transfer previous vet records to them.
One thing that is defficient is not having some kind of on-site pickup pharmacy for standard meds, particularly flea/tick pills & the like. They will provide pills, ointments, etc. for surgical procedures, obviously. But for other things, waiting & submitting subscriptions is tedious.”

“I had an unbelievably positive experience with Montrose Pet Hospital and the veterinarian I worked with, Varun Verma, DVM. I would recommend the facility to all my friends and family. They kept my appointment time promptly. Dr. Verma spent a good deal of time with me and my dog, Zoe, at least 45 minutes. He also left a follow-up phone call to see how my dog, who has double pneumonia, is doing. What a great place!”

“This vet saved our Twinkie, we thought she wasn't going to make as she slowly started to not walk to not being able to sit up, eat, poop or pee. Found to be she had inflammed spinal fluid with alot of pain and with meds she is almost back to running. Great turn around from 5 days ago. The staff was so sweet and did everything they could. I take them here for all their treatments, including vaccinations and their sterilization procedures, and everything has always gone wonderfully. “I had such a positive experience here and am truly grateful for the kindness and care shown to both me and my cat.
My cat has had a large lump on his arm for some time, and I came in feeling very anxious and worried. The staff took the time to examine him thoroughly and explained everything clearly and honestly. They reassured me that he is otherwise healthy and that the lump can be removed through a cosmetic surgery if we choose to move forward, which gave me a lot of peace of mind.
When my cat became stressed and reactive during the visit, the team handled it with patience and compassion. Instead of forcing anything, they adjusted the plan and provided medication to help him relax for his next appointment so blood work can be done safely and calmly. I really appreciated that they prioritized his comfort and well-being.
The estimates for blood work and surgery were clear, reasonable, and far more manageable than I expected, which was a huge relief. I never felt judged or rushed; just supported and listened to.

“I came in with no patient history for my cat needing emergency care. They ultimately couldn’t help me, but that’s not their fault—they just weren’t equipped for what I needed.
They still dropped everything and took my kitty back immediately to do what they could, they still showed concern and compassion, and they helped set me up to go over to an animal hospital equipped to do the services I needed. Their compassion and urgency made me feel like I was in good hands even in a moment that felt out of control for me. After I left, they called to give me updates about some paperwork, and asked *me* to update *them* about how everything works out for us.

“I have had two vet visits at Banfield. Both times I saw Dr Chen, who was awesome. She took the time to explain everything and answer all our questions. There was also a vet tech at the first visit whose name I believe was Brian. He was also awesome and took the time to talk to us and explain everything. The receptionist working at the first visit was wonderful, but the receptionist working there at the second visit was rude. Other than that, I highly recommend them.”
