I hate to make any comments so early and I will retract any negative statements made too prematurely, but I just paid $5000 for a surgery for my dog who appeared to have some form of obstruction in the stomach. She has been vomiting for at least a week and a half and has lost approximately. 10 pounds. Unfortunately, she has done nothing but vomit and has been in evident distress since she got home this afternoon. This is extremely upsetting to me to see her in such a a bad way. hope tomorrow will bring a better day. This is not the first time I ever gotten a negative result from Animal Medical Center. I will definitely post a retraction if she improves tomorrow, but for now, I am worried as hell and my intention is to call them first thing in the morning. And prayers for Renny would be greatly appreciated

I call this facility and they are fully book and they don't really accept walk-ins but when I went to their clinic and I told them I have 7 sick 10 days old chow chows with me having diarrhea, they gladly took us and Dr. Booth examined all the puppies. They're staff are caring and attentive. They went above and beyond. Thank you so much Animal Medical Center for the excellent care that our puppies received.

Our 13 year old dog took sick and needed to be put to rest. I've never used their services before but after calling them immediately after opening on Monday morning they answered the phone and said they would absolutely accommodate us... they were incredibly caring and compassionate and even though putting a pet down is one of the hardest things you can do the staff here made it as painless as possible. Thank you for the kindness and compassion you showed us.

This place is actually so horrible. I went in for an emergency bc my cat's organ was literally hanging out and one of the nurses just said "oh" then said no one can help us. Do not come here, there's no sympathy.

They really try to make everything affordable for you and only order tests you actually need. They care about your pet and want to help! The ONLY thing I would change is I wish they had a few appointments reserved for same day urgent situations. Hard to get in super quick.

Thanks so much Dr. vet Headley and staff for being so kind to Harley and for explaining everything to myself and Harley’s mom, Treena. I’m sorry about the dogs diagnosis but glad that we could not have changed the situation.

Great place to care for your fur babies, found out our baby had bone cancer and the doctors and staff were so kind, helpful, and caring all the way up to having to put our girl to sleep. The cremation package they offered is so beautiful and thoughtful. Made the process a little less stressful.

I want to thank Dr. Berg and nurse Evelyn in helping to get Uncle Sunshine on the road to recovery. You can truly see that they love and care for your pets. I also want to thank Holly for her help in checking Uncle Sunshine in and out.

Hercules is his name; his death will not be in vain. Heed all negative reviews and stay far far away from Animal Medical Center, San Jacinto, CA! My Chihuahua Hercules was 11 years old when he began to get treated at Animal Medical Clinic. He was first seen by Dir. Samantha English, regarding a chronic cough and a mass on his neck. Upon Dr. English initial exam, Hercules was distraught. He did not like her at all and was unusually uncontrollable fighting the exam with all his might. I was shocked at how he was reacting to her, Never in his 11 years of life with his previous vets had he ever reacted as unmanageable and distraught as he did with Dr. Samatha English. All prior vets were calming and soothing as they approached Hercules, and he never fought any of them as he did with Dr. English, he even snapped at me trying to get away! Dr. English showed no compassion what so ever, and demanded he be muzzled! I explained he had never in his 1 1 years of treatment by his previous vets needed to be muzzled! She paid no heed and was completely uncompassionate. This was July7th 2023; at this time, she ran blood work and told me he was in great condition. Bloodwork showed no abnormalities, and he was very healthy. I was happy to hear good news. Fast-forward to December 11th 2023, Hercules was seen again for an abscess tooth, this time he was seen by Dr. Hunter. He gave me an estimate on a dental procedure to remove an bad teeth. He also prescribed some meds for the infection. amoxicillian 100 mg, meloxicam 1.5 mg. Hercules appeared to respond to the medication and seemed to be feeling better. Unfortunately, later around December 18th, it appeared his infection came back, and he would not eat. So I called for a refill for antibiotic. They gave it to me with instruction to get him back asap for tooth infection I began to medicate him again and made arrangements for surgery for his teeth exaactions. I was able to schedule surgery for his teeth removal to be done on December 28th. 2023 Dr. Berg ran blood work this day to make sure Hercules was healthy enough to have surgery. As he was counseling me regarding his upcoming surgery, the tech that was in the back to draw his blood came into the room looking distraught and told Dr. Berg Hercules was BLUE! I was horrified as Dr. Berg brought Hercules to me to calm him down. After all this upheaval, the blood work came back, and I was told Hercules had SERIOUS KIDNEY DISEASE and ordered more meds. This time Dr. Berg prescribed cerena 16 mg tablets, predniosolone oral 1 oz, Hercules had refused food for the past couple days and would not drink, and he was declining before my eyes. Just a few months earlier he was in perfect health? I took him back the very next day because he was getting worse by the minute! This time he was seen by Dr. Booth, whose demeanor was guarded, and uncompassionate as she said to me, "I am not sure why Dr. Berg prescribed prednisolone, but I am taking him off it. This statement prompted me to express my concern regarding Hercules turning blue prior to his visit with Dr. Berg and now; he is not supposed to be taking prednisolone? She said she can't speak for him. I am sensing a FIASCO of mishaps beginning with Hercules turning blue and now hearing how meds "should nor be prescribed? Dr. Booth which saw Hercules last will prove to be the most MERCILESS INEPT Vet ever, as she scheduled his next visit in "one week or two" whichever I preferred KNOWING he was in critical condition on the day she saw him! As VCA animal hospital medical records will show as he was admitted the very next-day suffering from CHRONIC KIDNEY FAILURE, and dehydration! He spent three days in the hospital; upon release, I was given no hope that Hercules would survive his chronic kidney disease. Hercules succumbed to death days later January 9th. 2024 I RESEARCHED what could have happened to cause his SUDDEN kidney disease" I am convinced Hercules had toxic poisoning per meds prescribed, and other drugs related interactions, which destroyed his kidneys, and led to his

I brought my cat in and he was seen by Mary Booth. They took blood and urine. I called the office three times trying to get those results. The first time I called, the person said she couldn't read the results because she wasn't a doctor & someone would call me. No one did. The second time I called, they were closed for four days. Fumigation. The third time I called the girl said she'd email the test results to me. How does that work exactly? I'm now a vet and am supposed to read blood and urine tests on my own? I'd about had it by then and showed up in the office the next day. The office mgr said she'd call me later that day, She did. My cat had a UTI. Because of the office neglect, he'd gone with an untreated UTI for nearly 10 days. I went in the office (again) to get his antibiotics. Had I not pushed and pushed for the results, no one would have ever called me and I could have lost my cat to kidney failure or a blockage. I am pulling my two animals from this office and will be going elsewhere.

I have been bringing my fur baby here for years to see Doctor Dustin Headley, but after multiple negative interactions with the office staff and the doctor's REFUSAL to speak with me regarding my dog's medication, I will no longer bring my business here. I have chosen to overlook the mistreatment and poor customer service skills that the office staff seem to have until today. I was told by NIKO that Doctor Headley is "REFUSING TO SPEAK WITH YOU." I asked why and was not provided with an answer other than "Yeah that's what I said." I called back and spoke with Lileth who defended the words of Niko and said "Well I don't know what he meant by that, maybe it was a poor choice of words." Then only to be told she would look into it and return my call later (They never return calls despite stating they will). I came into the vet before December 6, while Dr. Headley was still on vacation, and was told I would have a returned call from the vet himself. That never happened. Instead, I called again today only to be told that the doctor refused to speak with me despite multiple requests and was not provided with the reason behind the doctor's refusal. The front office staff is by far the most unprofessional and incompetent I have ever encountered. When my father called on my behalf the office manager claimed that the reason the doctor refused to call me was because I mentioned I would leave a review when I was there to pick up medication on December 2. I never left a review until today. They make notes regarding concerns customers have instead of addressing them they use it as an excuse not to see the patient. It is so unfortunate that I was recommended to this vet by an outstanding vet who flourished and retired in the same community (Dr. Johnson) only to experience the very worst veterinarian office in the San Jacinto Valley.

They were super helpful with our puppy and truly showed compassion for him. Super kind staff, they even came to say hi to our other puppy that wasn't there for a visit but just came out to pet him.
