Ryan is personally concerned with his clients and gives a lot of his time for phone conversations without charging. He is a truly nice person.

I've been using Vanguard now for maybe 10 years.. Ryan took over when Peggy left and I was nervous having someone new but Ryan has been a gem! I will continue to take my taxes to them and hope their business does great! They are good people....

A shame, because Ryan sounded like a nice guy on the phone. But he doesn't return emails or phone calls. I have a client who has requested that Ryan send over her taxes so we can refinance her house. But after a dozen communication requests from us, and her, he simply ignores all emails and phone calls (he has a "service" that answers and says they are relaying messages to him). As someone with extensive accounting and tax knowledge myself (I own several businesses, including a mortgage brokerage company), there are many hard-working, reputable accountants who can do simple tax returns and collaborate with other finance professionals. Ryan doesn't have these skills unfortunately, at least in my dealings with him. On May 4, 2016 we spoke on the phone for the first time. That's when I though he sounded "nice." He said to "give him a day" and he'd send over my clients returns. It's now June 1st and zero communication from him, ignoring all requests for even an update.
