Honestly one of the worst "3-star" hotels I've ever stayed at. The walls are made of cardboard because you can literally hear everything happening (even faint talking) in adjoining rooms alongside you, above you, in the hallways, etc.The TV won't let you set it below 14...what? Why?The door to the toilet/shower is a farm door that doesn't fit the space so it provides zero privacy...just basic details that are missed. The lobby is nice and the staff I dealt with are helpful, but do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this hotel as possible.

Only come here if you like waking up every day at 6am with a loud obnoxious train horn. I'm serious - EVERY SINGLE DAY. Not even ear plugs helped. I didn't know about this outrageous thing otherwise I wouldn't stay here so do yourself a favor and avoid. I was at the room furthest away and still died a bit inside every morning I looked at the clock and it was 6am.Also water shower pressure is close to zero. You need to stand there for hours to try and rinse soap.

Next-door to Work would be nice if they had a better breakfast option. Instant burritos aren’t any good?Food & drinks: Stick to the drinks

The lobby is nice but the rooms are bare bones with very few amenities. The windows are not sound blocking and the walls are thin, so if you're easily wakened by trains passing by or chatty neighbors, be warned. Also, you have to ask for your room to be cleaned and even if you do ask they don't always do it.It's OK if you have no other choices but there are far better Marriott options if the area.Oh, and they also charged my personal credit card for the entire stay, not the corporate card the reservation was made with, so on top of a sleep-deprived week now I have to sort out that mess.Walkability: There are no shopping or dining options in walking distance.

The place has definitely gone downhill since I last stayed here a year ago. A lot of maintenance neglected. 2nd floor hallway smells weird. WiFi not working. Inspired to write review while sitting here listening to the rain leaking through my window. Will be looking elsewhere for lodging next time I come out.

The TV is set to a minimum volume of 14. Which is very loud.On top of that the walls at this location are paper thin currently 1030pm and listening to every conversation the people next door are having. So really not the most relaxing place.

I am a loyal Marriott member with Titanium status, staying at various Marriott properties approximately 85 nights a year. Unfortunately, my recent experience at A Loft Santa Clara has left me quite dissatisfied, prompting me to share my concerns.Firstly, the TV volume in the room was set to a minimum level of 14, which I found to be unreasonably loud. Upon calling the front desk to address the issue, I was informed that the hotel had deliberately set the minimum volume at 14. This response was disappointing, as it did not offer a solution to the discomfort caused by the excessively loud TV volume. As a frequent guest, I would expect a more accommodating approach to guest preferences.Furthermore, the water pressure in the shower was inadequate, making it difficult to properly rinse my hair. This added to the overall inconvenience of my stay. While I appreciate the benefits of my Titanium status and the generally high standards of the Marriott brand, my experience at this particular location falls short of the expectations I have come to associate with Marriott hotels. I hope that these concerns are addressed promptly to ensure a more comfortable stay for future guests.I urge the management to reconsider the TV volume policy and investigate the water pressure issue to enhance the overall guest experience. As a dedicated Marriott member, I believe in the brand's commitment to quality service and hope that my feedback contributes to the improvement of services at A Loft Santa Clara.

Came here for the game and the convenient location to Levi Stadium. The clerk, Duke, was amazing and provided us with great customer service. Although a bit small, the room served its purpose. Overall, we would stay here again.

Long story short, I called them to make sure I could send a package there. They said it wouldn't be a problem. When I got there, they wouldn't give me my package because no managers were on staff that weekend to hand it over. This package had merch I was selling at an event that weekend.I left being told a manager should be able to help me ship it back to my house the following Monday. I spend the next 2 weeks calling and leaving messages but none of the managers get back to me. I finally catch one when I call and he refuses to help me. I had to drive 2 hours back to pick up my package and 2 hours to go back home.I'm out the money I would have made selling that merch, I'm out the money I spent at this hotel, I'm out the money I spent on a full tank of gas to go back, and I'm out the money they now charge for parking.Their managers are completely useless. I'm never staying here again.

Hotel lost an Amazon delivery and despite leaving my info upon departure, two phone calls and an email over two weeks, the hotel refuses to call me back or even acknowledge the loss. I have proof it was delivered and saw the hotel package receipt log. At this point I’m going to assume one of their staff stole it until I hear otherwise. Absolutely abysmal service and incompetent staff.
