They have a great selection of feeder insects for reptiles, including varying sizes of crickets, dubia roaches, and hornworms, as well as other feeders like mealworms, super worms, and black soldier fly larvae.
The shopkeeper was very friendly and helpful in telling us about the different choices of feeders, and even gave us a small hornworm as a free sample 🐛 Andy's Pet Shop will become my go-to place for reptile feeder insects!

Love this little hole in the wall. They have had many locations over the years and I am glad they are still around. Nice place to get treats for dogs, cats,birds and other pets. It is fun treats for my dog on his walks. Great staff

I love Andy's pet shop. I do miss the old location and I wish there was a bit more for reptiles, but I go there any chance I get!

Great pet shop and service. The store is Clean. This has been a part of San Jose history for many years. they moved from Alameda.

amazing customer service and SUPER big selection!! ive been fond of this place for years. theyve moved from the alameda but its such a great place for anything you might need. we needed some light decoration for our small spider and had a lot to look at. I also found out mother wanted to help her neighborhood and neuter some of the fellow cats around that she cares actively for; they even rent traps to gently and safely do so!! lovely to see a shop like this

This place was paradise before, I haven't been there lately. Place was the heart of San Jose, pets wise. I could tell it was so clean and the employees treated everyone kinda like mr rodgers neighborhood feel..hope it keeps going for long time. Great alternative to the other Supermarkets.

I have been coming here for years and the only place I will go too. I have an aquatic turtle and will only eat the super worms from this place, have to make the diva happy.

Lisa and another male staff were very kind and helpful. Comparing to big name store, this place has more selection for small pets owners. They have the ‘snack bar’ for rabbits and Guinea pigs. Also have other safe toys to offer. I will be coming back for sure!

Good pet store that's close to me so I often go to Andy's pet store. Pleasant sales people and a good mom n pops shop.The only complaint I have is they always run out of stock . Aka DUBIA roaches. It would take a week or longer to get there shipment in so I have to go elsewhere. I would rather support local businesses than big box retailers.
