Archvet is the best. Dr. Solomon has always treated our Bernese Mountain Dog, who just turned 10. We won't go anywhere else. They are always kind and accommodating, and take great care of our big guy. Having an emergency vet available so close to us is convenient; we feel very lucky to have access to excellent vet care even on holidays.

THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR DR. DIAZ. LETS BE CLEAR - SO READ IT ALL. DR. KONG GETS A MILLION STARS.First, I want to start by saying that I am a HAPPY client of Dr. KONG. and this one appointment was with DR. DIAZ and will never be repeated but I have learned to ASK who the appointment is with instead of just assuming its with my doctor. THE STORY - I was going out of the country and my dog has had an off and on limp for a few weeks. He's been using it, no obvious pain and when he gets "in trouble" I noticed that limp gets more dramatic lol. I decided to take him in to get some answers on the issue and since I was traveling the next day, I sent the dog with my VERY CAPABLE, COLLEGE EDUCATED DAUGHTER to the visit ahead of me since I was running behind. She called me after what she described as a joke of an exam where DIAZ didn't even fully review his issue, said he needed a scan to be sure (that's not an issue) but said that it could be that the bones are rubbing together causing pain. The bandaid would be therapy and that a possible resolution would be surgery. OK, all good here.. THATS WHEN SHIT HITS THE FAN. I show up to get caught up and make some decisions on treatment plan. DIAZ didn't like that. I asked my questions to the MA and TO HER CREDIT she dismissed herself when she didn't have the answers to go ask DIAZ THE DOCTOR for the answers. APPARENTLY DIAZ didn't like repeating herself. She came back into the exam room, with a funky ass look on her face, bothered to high hell with short answers and interrupting me on numerous occasions. "LIKE IS SAID..." "THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID..." I PROMISE YOU DIAZ, I am not an angry person but it took everything in my power NOT to put you in your place that day. How dare you speak to me like that? I don't know who you think you are but why would I trust you with my dog? I wouldn't trust you with a damn house plant! Who knows what you would have done to him when I left for his sedation and scan. YOU ARE A TERRIBLE doctor/person/professional, shameful. More than YELP needs attention for this. Whoever is the owner of this location needs to really take a look at her practices. It's your name on the door not hers. I have my appointment today with my dogs REAL doctor who is worth the wait since she isn't there everyday. Her decisions I trust, her patience is appreciated, her professionalism is unmatched. DR KONG we adore you and the staff. If you are looking for a vet for your fur baby, use her immediately. She took amazing care of our Rotweiller who developed cancer, who was absolutely scared of the vet and down to that dogs last breath, DR KONG was an incredible caring soul. Sat on the floor with me, got her a blanket to rest on, shared compassion, until our girl closed her eyes for the last time and allowed me all the kindness one could have in that awful moment. Looking forward to our visit and having your support as a pet professional for our family. OH AND DIAZ.. I have no problem saying this to your face but you're not worth the time, again, but I'm up for it. An apology would be accepted with open arms, you owe me one.

We love arch vet! They are very gentle with our cat and explain everything in a way that non-vet people can understand! We love that they are open late as emergencies can arise in the nighttime. Overall we really love Archvet and recommend them to anyone looking for nice people to take care of your pets!

Worst decision to come here, DONT DO IT. FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR FUR BABY!!!I took my baby (Dog) here to be seen because other closer hospitals were all full, and the wait was 4-6hrs. My baby needed to be seen right away. I normally went to the one off Santa Teresa, and the Dr lived around the corner from us, which is why we went there. But they were closed this night, so we went to the Winchester facility!!! All was great until we got our call back with the results and further instructions. They proceeded to tell me our pet needed to be put on a special diet, no problem. We know this works. We've had a pet on a special diet before. So they proceeded to tell me they "only have 4 cans left" and advised me to take them, just in case they are not available later. The catch here was, she said $31 a can!!!! For a minuet, I thought if this is what my baby needs, then I have no choice. I said, "Sure, please save all 4 cans." I hung up and thought about it a bit.... hmmm. Thats expensive, so I looked at Petco and noticed the Cann were $3 and some change. So I called them back, and I asked them if they could email me the prescription because I lived 75miles from the clinic. They said, "Absolutely not!". As if I upset them by asking this. I asked why not. The response from the Dr was "We don't know ow if you will really use it for your pet!"... I was flabbergasted by the remark! I said, "You mean to tell me that you feel after spending $2k. I would take a prescription and sell the dog food!. I told her that was the most ridiculous thing I've heard. They refused to give it to me. Thankfully, Petco allowed me to purchase a few cans while I waited for my regular vet to open. So moral of the story, take your pet somewhere else, where the concern is getting your pet feeling better and not making the extra dollar. UNACCEPTABLE. I made sure to let all my family and friends know about this place as well. Ugh!!

After calling several other vets in area this was the only place that had available appointments within the day and week. The location is easy to find, they have ring bell needed to open front doors which I think is so smart for a vet office. Inside is spacious and clean. All the staff I interacted with during 2 visits were helpful and plesant. The vet-tech Rachel saw 2 different cats I brought in and she was so good with them and easy to talk to and get help with questions, a very helpful and delightful person to deal with. This place is now my go-to whenever a vet trip is in need

**update: maybe an hour after I posted initially three stars review (reluctantly by the way because I do love this place overall), I had a nice long conversation about my experience and I feel reassured that what I pointed out would be addressed. And my concerns were valid and important to the owner. Dr. Solomon is still the best**If I get Dr. Solomon everytime, this place gets five star reviews. Had a couple issues recently in phone conversations with staff but in person, vet techs and staff have always been awesome. The place is clean like previous reviews mention. The prices are what I expect for top quality care. But again, the service Dr. Solomon provides is like no other vet I've found. He gets down on the floor with every one of my dogs. Hands on, very thorough in his exams. Very caring. It feels like we adopted my rescue dogs together. I have yet to get the same passion or care from other vets on staff. I never feel like my dog is more than just another dog on the schedule that day. And after today's exam, Im just not confident in the diagnosis given. So am I just comparing every vet to Dr. Solomon? Yes. Is that fair? Probably not but when you love your animal like part of your family you want to feel like they are getting the best possible care. I can't say I feel that way on days like today when I wasn't able to see Dr. Solomon. I guess I just want consistency but can any place guarantee that these days...

Tldr: Business will not take accountability of their mistakes and misinformation, doesn't keep track of paid receipts, and will gladly double charge, but vets is good. I would only recommend this place if you are well off enough to pay the vet fee all at once, people who can't take your business elsewhere. Check other locations reviews to see how terrible the owner is, even when staff is good. This had to be one of the worse post experiences at a vet I have ever had. After coming in to take my dog for a broken leg, the receptionist had signed us up for carecredit at their recommendation as we can pay our bill in 6 months without interest. That payment wouldn't need to be worried about as they would select the correct payment amount. And everything looked good when they showed us everything and we went on our way.Low and behold 6 months later, we get the call that we didn't pay any of the vet fees and what we were paying was just interest (which we were told we wouldn't be paying). Called CareCredit today to see if this had been an error and CareCredit tells us this vet didn't do payment correctly and we needed to resolve this with the clinic.Called them and was met with a receptionist who had known who took the transaction and set up the payment. She let's us know that managers are busy and they would call back, but says they don't think they will be doing anything about it. They asked if we had receipts, which I shared with them and their response is that they didn't have that records that we paid so they wouldve needed the payment if we didnt have these receipts, so IF WE DIDNT CALL FOR THE INCORRECT PAYMENT PLAN THEN THIS JOKE OF A VET CLINIC WOULDVE DOUBLE CHARGED US FOR A PREVIOUS VISIT.The only reason that i gave this 2 stars opposed to 1(otherwise thisnwouldve been a great 5 star review): The actual vets were fine and great they explained everything well and did a great job at walking us through the healing process, but whoever manages the business operations and billing needs to find some other easier job for themselves.Edit to owners response- I don't understand why an associate would make the account and select the plan then. You as an owner need to understand that that employee made the mistake and as a result we pay for it. That's not ok and should be deeply ashamed. It is one thing if we applied at home on our own and didnt understand what we signed up for, it's another when your associate is making the account and helping us at your facility and doing things incorrectly while reassuring things were fine. This is clearly your businesses fault and any respectable business owner would understand that. You also don't acknowledge the fact tie facility doesn't keep receipts and would've double charged us for a previous visit which isn't care credits responsibility.Edit 2 - Management called me back to acknowledge it was their associates fault for giving false info and setting the account up, but will not rectify the situation. If you go to this vet please make sure to not allow an associate to help you with setting up any accounts as they will take advantage of it and you. A business owner who responds likes an teenager towards others reviews has no business pretending to be a professional and for anyone reading others reviews should be enough to make you double think coming here, just in case you have a not so smooth experience either.

My dog ate chocolate last week and I immediately looked up nearby emergency pet hospitals that have good ratings, so I chose Arch Vet and I see why this pet hospital has such great ratings/reviews. As soon as I got there and explained what was happening with my dog, they took me in and started getting to work right away. The whole visit probably took an hour maximum (most likely less) and everyone was so kind and accommodating to my dog and I even thought my dog is very sassy. Such a great and professional pet hospital! I was helped by Doctor Lakhpreet, Kendra, and Fiona.

My dog got an abscess and parvo from wag hotel back in March. I didn’t know it was parvo initially. She was vomiting then pooping blood. I immediately called Arch Vet and they kindly took us in for an emergency visit. They got her tested for parvo and when she came back positive they took precautions bringing her up to the isolation rooms and put her on an IV all day. They also flushed her drain tube for her abscess for me. The vet kept me updated every step of the way and thoroughly explained everything to me. The staff went above and beyond for my pup and she recovered quickly and easily. The price was a bit steep since it’s a private hospital but they took AMAZING care of her. I set up an appt with them over her regular vet because ArchVet exceeds in quality care for my pup. They are kind, well-educated, efficient and caring. I have the utmost faith my dog will always be well-taken care of at Arch Vet. Thank you guys for being such an amazing team that I will never hesitate to take my baby to!

Our 11wks old kitten wasn’t feeling well suddenly at night. We rushed him to the ER and Archvet took really good care of him. The staff, facility everything is top notch. Highly recommended.
