This is my first time seeing and visiting this Autozone. There is plenty of parking on both sides of the building. The employee helping us was awesome he opened the box and showed us the part, and checked to make sure it was the correct item.

Amazing customer service! Really appreciate the time, effort, and care Marvin took in replacing my car battery. AAA had to jumpstart my battery and they said, "The battery is not good. Take it to Auto zone and they will replace it." I took it straight to Auto zone in Alum Rock, San Jose. Really appreciate Marvin's help in measuring the car battery, taking the time to find different options, fitting with the best one, doing a thorough job in replacing it, and sending me on my way in no time and giving me the peace of mind that I don't have to worry about my battery during this cold season!

Who's the moron with the red hair? He's not helping your business.I'm a shop account. I needed a part very urgently and nobody had it locally. I was told this location had 8 items in stock so I called to verify and have 2 (same item x2) put aside for me. I drove an hour up from Salinas to East San Jose. When I arrived and was 2nd in line... the older gentleman with the vampire-red hair called up the customer ahead of me. That customer said, "nah you always sell me the wrong stuff" and he let me go first. They both joked back and forth and I assumed the customer and the employee must be buddies. Whatever, I went up to get my 2 parts. The employee handed me 2 similar boxes with 2 different part numbers. I mentioned to him that there is a mistake as I need 2 of the same item. He insisted those are mine, because the note said my name, coming from Salinas, and so he made no mistake and I should just take the parts. Oh man...Idk if he doesn't comprehend the English language or if he simply has a bad attitude. I'm not saying I know more than him, but I kept everything cool and professional. I drove too far and I simply need 2 parts. So while he is still insisting that those are my parts....I said "look I need 2 of THE SAME part number. These 2 boxes have DIFFERENT part numbers". He kept saying they are what I need. I opened the boxes and demonstrated that the 2 parts inside are different and I need 2 of the same matching parts. Pretty easy sale. He is supposed to have 8 of these in stock so I kindly asked him to check for another pair of the part number I'm asking for. He said No, that's all he has and the quantity on hand must be wrong. True or not I dont know, but he wasn't willing to go look.Ok so I asked if he could look up the part number I need by application. He hesitantly did and he produced a different part number. Cool, I asked if I could see those. He brought 2 out (new part number), the 2 boxes match, that's good but when I opened the boxes these 2 also were mismatched items. So I kindly asked him to bring another pair out as it showed he had 4 of these in stock. Again he didn't want to and said this is it.We had 4 boxes on the counter and neither of the pieces would make a pair.Ok so I asked if any other local store had these pieces (either part number). I was willing to keep driving to get these pieces for my customer. He said the Curtner store and Almaden stores both had a pair of 1 part number. Ok Curtner is closer and I asked if he could verify if they were in fact in stock. I would buy his 4 mismatched parts and go to Curtner hoping to buy 2 more there and hopefully make a matching pair of parts. He didn't want to call Curtner. He said they're a smaller store and just like his inventory is messed up theirs would very likely be also and they won't have the part. I said I understand that's why I'm kindly asking you to call and check their stock on hand and to please see if their parts actually match each other. He called. They had 2. I bought 4 mismatched everything at Alum Rock and 2 additional at Curtner.At Curtner I got "ok" service by the young man, but he was severely understaffed for the volume of customers. I was at Curtner for 45 minutes easily and I never saw a 2nd employee.... this was in the evening.While at Alum Rock, some guy I assumed was the manager spoke up and basically reiterated everything balding-red-hair-guy said. When I tried to clarify he was "too busy to listen". The only person with an operable brain was the person that rang me up.

Absolutely shocking business if I could rate it 0 stars I would. Staff was rude especially Tony who served me was rude talked back to me said they didn't have a part when they did argued with me kept talking to other staff when I was trying to speak, also we called before we headed over 20 mins on the phone to wait and no one spoke, the owner of this place needs to get a grip of this before it goes out of business, I never give bad reviews but this was so bad.

Absolutely terrible. I went here and ordered a part for pick up and they gave me the wrong part since they couldn't find it in stock but didn't tell me. I gave a call back and asked for the nearest store that had the correct part. At this point they were interrupting me and being extremely rude. They told me to check Hawaii. At that point I hung up.
