This place is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The range of products is impressive, from fishing gear to hunting equipment. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to help. The ambiance inside feels like stepping into an adventure. My only suggestion would be to expand the camping section for even more variety. Overall, a great experience for anyone who loves the great outdoors!

Very bad experience with this place, when I place an order they send me a confirmation email with all the instructions telling me to wait. for a couple of days, later when I received a email confirmation # to pick up my item, agiw up here very excited to pick up but then, the customer service made me waiting for very long time and given me a hard time and not letting me pick up my items, 1star still alot for this place, very unsatisfied

I was at Bass Pro earlier today, having a nice shopping day with my son and sister until we checked out my son checked out right before I did and there was this cashier by the name of Judith she was very very rude to my son and then I came up to pay and she was the same exact way to me so if your ever checking out there don't go through her line she is very rude to customers.

This store is always well organized! Tons of good things to buy from here! The people in the firearm section of the store are really knowledgeable and friendly once you get to know them! I would highly suggest to check this store out! They have the best deals for firearms!

Funny enough. I got profiled at bass pro . I'll still go there because it's the only one here. But buyers beware. They will hover you and watch you in a super obviously suspicious way. Funny enjoy that even added onto this a cop parked his car in front of mine. Have fun at bass pro y'all. Get profiled today.

since they've opened, they've been completely disorganized and inept. Expect much longer wait times for everything. Especially firearm sales. Go elsewhere if you can.

I call the store and a lady picks up. She told me there’s a difference between pick up in-store versus curbside pick up. I told her there was no option stated when I ordered the clothing. She was impatient and transferred me to another department where no one picked up. I called again and I know she picked up because I heard her dialing the phone and shortly after it transferred again. Hire people who actually are willing to help cover and answer a simple question if a person from a department isn’t available.

Gun and Ammo purchase experience is horrific. Please institute an online appointment system for gun purchases!!!!! (Maybe for ammo purchases too? And allow them to be done together?) Currently, there is only an app-based queue, which requires you to wait for between 1-4hrs in the store, for your name to be called. It also seems to take around 30-45 minutes per customer, which is substantially longer than the 15-20 min I experience at other private FFLs.

I recently visited the Bass Pro Shops in San Jose and was genuinely impressed with the vast selection of outdoor gear and the overall ambiance of the store. The store layout is thoughtful, allowing for easy navigation through different sections - whether you’re looking for fishing equipment, camping gear, or even outdoor clothing. The staff deserves special mention for their knowledge and willingness to help. They were friendly and gave expert advice on various products, which made my shopping experience much more straightforward. Additionally, the store’s cleanliness and organization were top-notch, making it a pleasant environment to shop in.One of the highlights was the impressive display of boats and the extensive range of fishing gear. It’s a one-stop-shop for any fishing enthusiast. Also, the taxidermy displays and the large aquarium added a unique touch, making it more than just a shopping trip but an experience. However, there were a few downsides. The prices were slightly on the higher side compared to some other outdoor retailers. While the quality of the products justifies the cost, it might be a bit steep for budget-conscious shoppers. Also, during peak hours, the store seemed understaffed, leading to longer waiting times for assistance. In conclusion, the Bass Pro Shops in San Jose is a fantastic destination for outdoor enthusiasts. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in pricing and staffing, the overall experience is delightful and worth a visit. I give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend it to friends and family looking for quality outdoor gear and a unique shopping experience.
