Best Auto Repair is by far the best auto mechanic shop I have been to in years! Dante is the owner and he is a very honest, generous and kind man who knows his business very well! Ever since I was referred to them, I have continually referred my family members and my friends to Dante and Best Auto Repair, over and over, and everyone is as happy as I was and continue to be with their service and repairs, and the excellent value they provide, and their overall stick-to-it-iveness, to ensure their customers' complete satisfaction and happiness! My daughter, Victoria, dropped her Kia off today for some potentially major repairs and maintenance, and I am absolutely confident that she will be very happy! Let's face it, it is extremely hard to find people and businesses, these days, with such high standards and the highest degree of ethics, and with the greatest degrees of honesty and integrity as that repeatedly demonstrated by Dante and his business, Best Auto Repair, located on Kings Row in San Jose, California.I thoroughly recommend Dante, and his employees, and this business without any hesitation whatsoever!

Needed fluid change and confirmed appointment day before, was told to come in 9 am. Drove 30 minutes to meet 9 sharp. 45 minutes later still waiting in pouring rain. Wasted time. If you tell a customer a certain time, hold your word Dante.

Too often the most popular shops are located on the main strips, which brings in new customers like flies. Not Best Auto Repair, their excellent service is by honest word-of-mouth. Although they may be located in an industrialized part of the city, they work harder to earn your trust and the quality and honesty shows. The shop replaced my alternator on my 1985 toyota pickup truck in just one day with no appointment and she runs like new! I never thought I'd find this level of quality, honesty and timeliness so far from Monterey. Most-highly recommended!
