I tried the breakfast burrito (veggie) at this place, and it was amazing. I ordered it online, and the wait time was reasonable. I arrived at the suggested time, and my order was already prepared, so I didn't have to wait. It's worth mentioning that they have two separate lines for online orders and walk-ins, which is very convenient. The burrito is enormous, and the egg, potatoes, cheese, and avocado amounts are well-proportioned. I chose to have my burrito with green sauce (you can taste the tomatillo in the sauce, which is a plus); I also added an extra serving of red sauce. Both sauces are delicious, but if you want something spicy, these might not be the best choices; they are flavorful but not particularly hot. Please note that parking is available at the rear of the property. Alternatively, you may find street parking if you are lucky.Try out this place as you will be greeted by friendly staff; you will enjoy large portions of delicious food at reasonable prices. It's no surprise that the establishment has been operating successfully for a long time.

Don’t understand the hype here. Got a chicken pesto sandwich which is same quality as you can get at any generic deli. Nothing stands out. Maybe most people just want quantity over quality nowadays. Tried once and no reason to try again.

I think rating a sandwich depends entirely on what I put in it, and what I like. They do serve good sandwiches here as the veggies used are fresh. As an afterthought we had to buy some sauce to transform the chicken pesto and the chicken alameda sandwiches that we had ordered. Some pickled onions may have helped to jazz up the unappealing sandwiches. We are happy with the service.

Burrito, amazing as usual. Orange juice today was completely inedible (is there a similar word for unable to be drank??). The OJ was so bitter it had absolutely no flavor. I mentioned it on my way out to one of the ladies at the counter and she immediately commented about how it's out of season and that's probably why, and it seemed she already knew. So why did the lady who took my order not say "hey just so you know the OJ today is pretty bitter, so if you're not interested in that you may not want a bottle today?" Instead I spent the money and basically wasted it. At least the lady who I mentioned the bitterness to let me try a different bottle. But it was exactly the same.I'm not sure why orange juice was even being sold today if it was so bad even the employees taking orders knew...Edit (01/16/2024):In the reply to my review, they addressed me with the wrong name, didn't address the actual problem with the orange juice, and then ended their response with an advertisement. Very unprofessional. I'm dropping my rating because I feel like the service here isn't as good as it used to be and it seems they're intent on selling a bad product without being transparent to their customers. The burritos are still good but that's about it. I'll be rethinking coming here as often.

Got the breakfast burrito and the cheese in it looked like cheese whiz. No onions, or peppers or seasoning and no flavor. I was asked what salsa I wanted but never got it. Two burritos cost $36 with tip - it's really big, but that's it (quantity w/o quality). They mixed up our order and took back the food that they gave us, even after we opened it. I asked for a receipt but it was not itemized, so I had no idea what we were charged for.

Great burritos, To say they give generous portions is an understatement. Idc how big you are/ how much you eat, one burrito from here will 100% fill you up, that is of you're able to finish it.

I think my expectations were set too high by social media. This is definitely not the best breakfast burrito in San Jose. Customer service was ok. Cashier was preoccupied and not too friendly. Bacon burrito was ok. It wasn’t bad but I could make a better one at home. Prices are a bit high too. 20 bucks for a black coffee and breakfast burrito. Maybe I ordered wrong? Likely won't be back.

Cafe Rosalena offers a breakfast experience worth savoring. We opted to share the breakfast burrito with ham and avocado, and it was a flavor-packed delight. The marriage of ingredients within the burrito was harmonious, and the orange sauce brought a chipotle-infused zest with just the right hint of heat. Cafe Rosalena succeeds in delivering a satisfying and tasteful start to the day, making it a go-to spot for those seeking a delightful breakfast experience.
