Horrible banker, highly doubt they have fraud. Require collect SSN scan copy and ID copy when open the bank account. I called customer service, they don’t require physical SSN, and customer service on the phone ask me to change a branch.

Do not bank at this branch. The ladies there will not treat you with dignity. We opened a bank account and we were locked out of our Acct; the ladies at this branch refused to help resolve the issue and then added notes to our account to make things worse. They told us we had to wait for a letter in the mail! We called customer service and they told us to go to a branch! Citibank is holding over 7k and have no valid reason for doing so other than we chose to transfer funds out and close the account due to the hassle of trying to access our cash. The location on Meridian is customer service friendly, a guy there was so helpful and treated us with dignity. My entire family will be closing our accounts with Citibank since we can't trust them to access our cash at anytime with proper identification. I've never had this issue with it BOFA or Capital one. I feel stupid for recommending Citibank to my family.

Thao Bui, the branch manager really supported the products what I was looking for, and provided appropriate answers to my all questions. Thank you!

Horrible customer service. Sofia Perales served us. She told us to bring SSN to open a checking accounts. We drove back home to fetch it ASAP and came back at 1:30 pm. She saw us when we were waiting her but left us alone until 2pm, which is close time on Saturday. And then let us go! During our waiting time, her colleague tried to help us but stopped when knew Sofia already served us. Not sure why, guessing she didn’t want to touch her business. Hope Sofia’s manager saw this comment. Your report didn’t value customer’s time and feeling at all!

Citibank phone support is the worst thing I've ever had to deal with. Call. On hold. Get someone after an hour that doesn't speak English in a recognizable form. Get put on hold. Get hung up on. Chat. Nobody answers. Why call it customer service? There's no regard for the customer at all. If someone tells me to call them to discuss, I would say that's pretty indicative of how incompetent these people are.

Terrible customer services every time I come here. Their bank tellers don't bother saying hello , put on a smile or acknowledge your presence the way professionals business should be instead they came across rather RUDE and extremely slow in servicing customers. It really ashamed considering the numbers of unemployed people out there looking for work

'm not sure about other banks around the area, but for Citibank, in order to speak to a banker you would need to schedule an appointment beforehand. We didn't know that, so we scheduled an appointment for next day because my mother wanted to open a checking and I wanted to open a credit card. We came in on Monday and made an appointment for Tuesday using a sign in clip board. The earliest time of the day to have an appointment was at 10am. Since there were two of us, we signed up for 10am and 10:30an. Our appointment was 10am but we were asked to wait in the lobby, and after 10 minutes Carlos greeted us and was our banker for today. In one hour, Carlos was able to open a credit card for myself and a checking account for my mother. If you open a credit card, ask for CITI Double Cash Card with Zero APR for 18 months. This is great cause you're able to have a credit card with no interest. Also, once your receive your card you can do a balance transfer if you have any current credit cards. Carlos mentioned that it will take about 7-10 business days for the car to arrive (I hope it comes sooner). PRO TIP: if someone refers you to open a checking they are eligible to get $100. If you're planning on opening a checking, have a friend refer you! It was easy to locate the referral by inputting their phone number. My partner referred my mom and will be receiving $100 within 90 days.
