We’ve been coming here for years but this place has really lost its touch. The woman who owns this place closed up shop on us at 2pm talking about she closes every day from 1:30pm until 4:30pm to pick up her son. Mind you there was no sign on the front of the building saying that. The sign says they open at 11:30am and she is always late to open. I mean always. She never answers the phone when I want to order. She’s always in a bad mood. I don’t think she likes to work at all. The bbq is not all that great when she makes it. She also didn’t have plates for us when we came in to eat. It seemed like she was rushing us out. As for the male owner, you can tell he takes pride in his work and his restaurant. He is amazing and always takes care of my family when we come in.

Tried baby pork ribs and it was ok. I would go here if I’m too lazy to cook my own bbq. Food taste is average.

Disappointed this visit. Service was poor.. the cook/cashier/owner was rude and seemed to be in a bad mood. They won't let you pay with visa gift cards and they do not let you tap to pay. The chicken was not good at all! It was dry and had a gross charbroiled flavor. The beef Ribs were fire as usual. The onion rings sucked! They should really make them beer battered dipped because bread crumbs made the onion rings kinda dry and not pleasant to eat. I used to love CJs BBQ. Don't think I'll be coming back any time soon unless I'm craving beef ribs. Oh and there's no bathroom or sink to wash your hands!

Ordered online. Wait for 30mins they say never got the order and can’t find the order. the online price is cheaper. When I say I can pay the higher price at the shop to reorder it. Then they able to find the online order and cancel it right way. End up with I forgot my wallet. );

Hole in the wall Korean BBQ and ramen joint. Don't expect much for ambiance, just a walkup counter and take your food to go. There's no restroom available and no free water.The cheese ramen is a delicious surprise - creamy, with a smidge of spice. The sandwiches are a pile of meat on bread, no veggies and sides are extra. I got the King sandwich, which is a pile of pork rib meat and hot links on a simple white bread roll. It was very good, but I'd like to add kimchi next time for some variety.

Don't recommend getting the Korean corn dog. I bought 3 for almost $5 each and it was terrible. Frozen corn dogs from the super market.

Such a great pork rib sandwich. I’ve been coming here for years and its always my go to order. Also, the sweet potato fries are crispy and always tasty. The lady in front can be kind of stingy with the fries, dipping sauces and portions of food on occasion but it’s all still great flavor. It can be pretty pricey, customer service just isn’t the best but the flavor of the food out shines all that for me. The pork rib meat on the sandwich is tender, smokey and chopped up perfectly. The bbq sauce is one of the best bbq sauces I’ve tried and the top quality bread just is the cherry on top.

Yeah boosting my review to 4* because they're a local small business and I want to support them on Yelp, but my actual rating is 3*. I really wanted to like this place, seeing a friend's positive review and also learning that it's a Korean run BBQ joint (shoutout to CJ Entus Frost and Blaze). Unfortunately, I was slightly disappointed. Like what many other people are saying, this is not your typical traditional style American BBQ. It's not smoked like southern BBQ, so you're losing out on the smoky, charred, grilled flavor. In a sense, it reminds me of the amateur backyard BBQs of my childhood: basic grilled meat smothered with sweet BBQ sauce. As a result, the meat here had a nostalgic taste for me, which is good, if only it was cooked well. One of my problems with this place is the consistency. I got the Chicken + Pork Ribs combo plate, and both the chicken and ribs had parts that were super tender, juicy, and fall of the bone, and other parts that were chewy, rubbery, and tough. For example, the chicken drumstick was great but the thigh wasn't. All told, the pieces that were tender were really good, so here's hoping that they can make it more consistent next time. The meat had a ton of sweet BBQ sauce on it, which almost tasted Asian/Hawaiian to me. Super tasty, it's like a Korean/American fusion. The garlic bread that came with the combo was cut nice and thick but tasted average. I also ordered the ramen here for the lols and that was a mistake. $11 for instant ramyeon. To be fair, it was the more expensive type, the ones that cost a couple dollars each and have multiple seasoning and garnishing packets inside, but this is still highway robbery. For $11, I was expecting them to add things to elevate the ramen, like eggs, jalapenos, green onions, anything, but I literally just got a bowl of instant ramyeon lol. YakiniQ does it better. The prices are high just like most other BBQ spots. The service was nice though, a very kind Korean lady took my call and then helped me when I arrived. Looking back, this is a pretty unique Korean/American fusion BBQ place. I would love to support this local small business, if only the food and the prices were better. Shoutout to Newton who I look to for BBQ recs.

Not your typical traditional style BBQ. It's not smoked like Texas BBQ. But still good. This is more like sweet sauce on grilled meat over fire. I really like it because the meat is tender, especially the beef ribs, and the flavor is sweet and tasty. If you don't want to eat super smoky traditional Texas style Q, come check this spot out. I got the 3 pork/2 beef ribs. Affordable, good, and unique. It really is tasty. Don't expect it to be like Franklin BBQ, Horn BBQ, or South Winchester BBQ. This is more like a Hawaiian/Korean influenced type of cuisine, and it's awesome. Definitely take some friends here. It's Togo only currently but support the local joint. Great service too.

food was overpriced, half the menu was not available and food was okay. It was more like chicken with barbecue sauce, got the beef ribs but mostly bone. I dont know, felt like it was just there and no love in it.

food is overpriced, combos don't come with sides. they don't even sell macaroni and cheese. i would recommended going to a restaurant that specializes in bbq, it should really be named CJ's korean.
