Staff is too bad and very impolite. They prohibit everyone buy everything. Even someone buy and check out with their card and their membership.

Went to get tires installed which I ordered online. They call me 4 hours later to say they couldn't find the wheel lock, which they said they looked everywhere. I returned and found where the spare tire is kept. Cos that's probably the most sensible place. But these guys couldn't figure that out. 4 hours later they call to tell me they canceled the payment, for some reason. When I returned they fed me some crap and sent me to membership to get the money back and then repurchase the tires I already purchased. That took another 30 minutes. I came to this place 3 times in a day and still don't have my tires. I requested a full refund and will never return to this location until they figure their sh*t out. It might not be fair to 1-star the entire place but there should be zero tolerance for such incompetence from their tire department.

Costco is always great if you have a large family or a business to run. Currently still no food samples due to covid regulations. They've increased the self-checkout which I think is great for ppl who have relatively less items and can quickly scan and pay. The Costco gas station is also right outside. So definitely fill up on gas before you by your things, or else sometimes you might be unlucky with extremely long lines. Costco members are always nice and willing to help. Definitely spend some time looking around cuz there's always some hidden treasure with great prices

Very nice, big and clean. Parking can be difficult on the weekend so I like to go during the week day. You get much better parking and service.

Not going to buy coffee from this warehouse. They don't have a way to grind your coffee. Is this because of the pandemic? You have customers and a worker named Julio walking around without masks so a coffee grinder should be the least of your worries. A worker told me to take it to Starbucks...well guess what I've been all over SJ and no one will grind it. Also, when they have a small tiny section of books in the back corner it tells you exactly what they think who their customers are. This location only has a half deli. You're better off going to another location.

Costco has to stop those outside vendors to sell things like solar panels, wines, message chairs and things like that. The problem is not so much with the merchandise but with the sale tactics they use. One example is in one of the conversation with a wine salesman, he kept insisting me on buying a certain wine because I don't know what I am doing and I should listen to his (supposedly) expert advice. Another example is the solar panel saleslady tried to talk to me into getting solar panels. I explicitly told her that I don't own a home. I am renting. She kept insisting that I should talk to my landlord to negotiate some kind of deal so that I can install solar panels on my roof. This is total BS! It's so hairy and so complicated to the point where it does not make any sense at all. The bottom line is Costco has to leave customers alone to do their shopping in peace instead of all this verbal harassment.

As soon as I walked into the location I was greeted by this young man named Alberto. Normally my wife and I find going to Costco as an unpleasant experience but seeing this young man rock a mullet the way he does we've found a silver lining to the Costco experience. He helped us load our flat screen in our car in the parking lot and had a great attitude the whole way through and wouldn't accept a tip. I hope Costco does more to hire more people like him.

My problem was with a worker at the customer service desk. His name is Mike, he's "heavyset," has long hair in a ponytail, and is middle aged. I bought a man's shirt from Costco online, and was sent a woman's skirt instead, for the same price. This was in May 2021. I tried to return it, at the Senter Rd Costco, and Mike said that he could take it, and give me a paper that said I had turned it in, but that he could not give me the refund. He said that I had to pursue this over the phone, or online. I tried to do this, and the employee who helped me tried very hard, but she could not help me. So, I called up customer service at Senter Road Costco, and told them my problem, and got an employee whose name was irene. "Irene" was not what I would call a good customer service representative. She seemed to distrust my account of what happened, and told me she would have to talk with the employee who took back the skirt, and then she would call me back, the next day. I expected her never to call me again, but she did call and her tone completely changed. She was polite! She said that I could come in and get my refund. I did go back to the Senter Road Costco and told Mike what Irene had told me, and he did give me my money back. I held my tongue, desperately, just wanting my money back, but he was so blasé about the whole affair, that at the end of the transaction I asked him "can't you say I'm sorry? you caused me a lot of trouble running around trying to get my money back." He told me, "I'm sorry ma'am if I caused you any problems. I was just doing my job." Which was not true, according to irene, who said that he made a mistake. This has left me with a bad taste in my mouth, and honestly, though that Costco is the closest to my home, I'm now reluctant to return there.

Do not ever never purchase anything from pharmacy of this store. The person whose name is Oanh that I confronted is stupid person that I never ever seen before. when I told her that Thick it box was not fully sealed. Instead of replacing the new one for me. she called the Latino lady who is her supervisor and told her I that I intended to broke the seal. I was not stupid to do that , it wasted my time coming to the store for replacing it . The store manager need to teach them how to have good attitude toward the customer and try to be fully aware of this stupid person to avoid something like this happen in the future.

I spent 3+ hours today trying to find the shelf liners and water hose! The folks at the store weren't so helpful since they don't know where things necessarily are. I am also unable to look them up from the Costco app, which I wished they had this feature available. I kept circling the isles that the workers suggested hoping to find the items I needed but no avail. The shelf liners were at the back of the warehouse on the right corner where the waters are in case anyone is interested. The place is quite crowded and not all are wearing masks or practicing social distancing. We are all bound to catch covid. I didn't want to spend so much time but the way that Costco is organized, this is impossible. If you're ordering food, you can now pay for it first. I didn't know you had to line up afterwards so whatever number they gave you, it's no use! Your number won't get called. You have to go line up and then they'll grab the items for you. Is this efficient? I say almost. Everything you touch is not sanitized including the carts. Pray that I continue being healthy. I'm going to avoid going to the store for now.

The worst Costco in all of San Jose. The parking lot is horrific every single time you go. People leave their shopping carts all over the parking lot as there aren't many designated shopping cart corrals for customers to get to. They also have the worst food court of all Costco's. Their ice machines are always out, their hot dog buns are ice cold, the lids barely fit the beverage cups, and there is a woman who is the most unaccommodating, unprofessional, and unfriendliest Costco employee I've ever encountered. First of all, she had no name tag on which I am sure is in violation of Costco employee dress code because I have never seen a Costco employee without a name tag. Secondly, I saw the customer a few places ahead of me complain to her that his hot dog was ice cold and instead of discarding it, she took it from him and just handed it to the next customer who had a hot dog order! Finally, I asked her for 2 pre-filled ketchups and she refused while stating that you only get one per order. Then, she walked away. I bit my tongue and really wanted to bring this to the attention of Costco management...but, she had no name tag on. Horrible experience and couldn't even enjoy the little hotdog I got for myself as a treat for having had spent $100 there.

This isn't my go-to Costco. I was specifically trying to find shelf liners and unfortunately this place was the only place that had it. But I guess the only plus was that when we went, the shelf liners were on sale. So I guess that's the plus side. The layout of this Costco is quite a bit different than other Costcos so it took a while to find what I needed and it was of course no where near where I thought the shelf liners were. Other than that, it was fine. Normal Costco. We were pretty much in and out after I got my liners. I guess we did Costco wrong this time...or maybe it was right? Only getting exactly what we needed and ran right out before we spent more money! Huzzah!
