First time using Costco optical services and was happily surprised how awesome it was. From the initial eye exam to purchase contacts lenses and glasses. The most time spent was me figuring out which frames to purchase. They have a great selection that includes designer frames, and the price was extremely lower than normally pay. The service representative by the name of Mario was very patient with me, even though I asked to see eight or nine different designer glasses He was extremely thorough and great attention to detail! He was also fun to work with. I highly recommend trying Costco optical services at this location.

Date: Saturday, February 17th, 2024 Time: around 2:45pm *AIRWICK ($17.99 -$4.50) *S&P PISTACHIOS ($16.49 -$4) *GLIDE FLOSS ($14.99 -$4) *THAT'S IT ($13.99 -$4) *SAMYANG CARBONARA ($11.49 -$3) *KOREAN BBQ STYLE BEEF ($17.99 -$4.50) *RAPOKKI ($9.99 -$2.50) *PAD THAI ($13.99 -$4.00) *KS ULTRA LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT ($18.89 -$3.90) *LAUGHING COW ($9.49 -$3) *KS MICRO POPCORN *14.99) *VANITY MIRROR ($29.99 -$6) *SB PIKE 72CT: K-CUPS x2 ($79.98 -$14) Once the pandemic started and we were in lock down, this became my go to Costco. Since then, I've been here numerous times. Parking is relatively easy and the lines are never too bad. I'm a sucker for their coupon book, so I tend to stock up when items are on sale. I recently went in and as you can see above, almost everything I purchased was on sale. All but the popcorn. (Prices listed are the store price then minus the coupon amount.) Finding everything was relatively easy except for the Airwick pods. I tend to only buy these when on sale and they've always been up front when you walk in. This time they were not there, and I wasn't sure where to look. Went up and down each aisle until I found it by the air fresheners in the back right of the warehouse. (This applies when looking at the warehouse when you walk in.) I don't go to Costco often, but they had a few Asian food items on sale. If you try the rapokki and add stuff like meat, etc, make sure to add extra water. Ours turned out a little dry, so we added more water at the end. Great go to Costco location.

I am an avid Costco shopper. Absolutely love Costco and have been shopping at Almaden branch for almost three decades until couple years back changed the location to Raleigh. Last week I bought Tilapia fish. While cutting and even after washing, it smelled like some sort of a chemical. Still doubted ourselves thinking perhaps it's nothing, I cook it as Indian fish curry. The moment we ate the pieces the chemical smell was so strong that it felt unsafe to eat so I had to throw away the whole curry. I am writing this review wondering if anyone else had similar experience and what exactly is going on with food. If it was just on the surface then it should have been washed off because we gave it a good wash but the moment we ate the pieces the smell and taste was unbearable. We should've just trusted our instinct and thrown it away before cooking. Disappointed that Costco is not cautious in their food supply to make sure the consumer is buying safe products.

Title: Exceptional Service Experience at Costco's Hearing-Aid Department Rating: I recently had the pleasure of experiencing outstanding customer service at Costco's Hearing-Aid Department, specifically from Bonnie Gil, the department manager at the Great Oaks location. Her exemplary service deserves nothing less than a five-star rating. Upon encountering an issue with my left hearing aid not charging properly, I decided to seek assistance at Costco. From the moment I approached Bonnie, it was evident that she was committed to resolving my issue promptly and efficiently. Bonnie not only addressed the charging issue but went above and beyond to ensure that my hearing aid was in optimal condition. She meticulously cleaned the device, replaced the pads, and even updated it with the latest technological advancements. Her attention to detail and dedication to providing comprehensive solutions were truly commendable. What stood out the most was Bonnie's genuine care and expertise. She took the time to explain each step of the process, ensuring that I understood the maintenance procedures and how to maximize the functionality of my hearing aid. Her professionalism and personable approach made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. In an era where exceptional customer service is increasingly rare, Bonnie Gil's commitment to excellence shines brightly. Her dedication to customer satisfaction sets a high standard for service industry professionals everywhere. I wholeheartedly recommend Bonnie to anyone in need of assistance with their hearing aids. She is an invaluable asset to Costco's team and epitomizes the epitome of great customer service.

Parking was difficult as with many costcos but this was more. People seem agitated here all in a hurry. We love Costco but wouldn’t go to this particular location again

I know it’s probably pointless to complain about your staff when it’s no secret most of San Jose is stuck up regardless of net worth, but if my last visit went worse it would’ve resulted in a lawsuit. I’m disabled and use motorized carts when I go to large stores such as Costco locations. Thankfully a cart was available and charged. I was next in line and just waiting on the member I was with to present the membership card, and no one behind me in my line. Anyways, the member I was with was taking only like three minutes to get to the line and still no one behind me. Your packer took it upon their self to go to the line next to me to and started taking stuff out of a lady’s cart who was in no obvious way ready to be checked out- after I was told she was going to help the next customer. My stuff was already on the conveyor and my motorized cart was less than a foot away from being behind the check stand so I decided to move up before the stuck up packer could bring the stuff over to be checked out. She could’ve injured me and I would’ve defended myself and sued her personally and your manager on staff and your company. Your cashier didn’t greet and was tapping his finger the whole time the card machine was taking payment. It’s clear Costco could care less about the disabled. Shame on you. Also, make sure all of your locations have ready the motorized carts and enough on hand, otherwise that’s illegal.

I generally like Costco. This Costco is crowded but that's to be expected. I had a great experience in the optical shop (VERY crowded but the actually doctor you see is amazing). The pharmacy... needs work. The pharmacist herself is great. I know it's a busy department but they're disorganized. My prescriptions will show as ready but either aren't when I arrive or are, but they'll give me 2 out of the 3 for example. I'll ask for the missing item and they will go find it so I do get it eventually but I've been spoiled by the perfect efficiency of my former SJ Costco.

Nice Costco with gas, located right off the highway. Good selection of wines, nowadays better and larger than the Almaden branch. The tire center is also easier to book. It's also one of the few places where I can find sirloin top cap by itself. Love this cut of beef, picanha.
